asleep. Dingo licked her hand and woke her up. She smiled as she saw the two dogs.

“Thanks, Balto,” she said, patting the wolf hybrid on the head. “I would be lost without you.”

Balto flinched. “Is it just me, or has someone said that to me before?” he whispered to Dingo. Dingo smiled, stifling a laugh.

“And you too, Dingo,” she said. “Thanks for helping me escape and bringing me back to my brother again.” She patted the soft fur on his back.

Suddenly Dingo heard someone clearing their throat by the hospital door. He turned around and saw Saba with a twinkle in her eye. “Want to head to the boiler room?” she asked.

Dingo grinned. “You know I do!” he said. He turned around. “Bye, Dad. Bye, Sandy. I’ll see you two later.”

Dingo and Saba walked outside the hospital and started heading for the boiler room. Suddenly Saba stopped. “Let’s race!” she said.

Dingo smiled as he ran to the boiler room alongside Saba. Everything was back to normal. And this time it was going to stay that way.

Epilogue

The next few days were some of the best ones Dingo ever remembered. The word on the street was that Ray Warren had been arrested and put in jail for child and animal abuse. Things were starting to really heat up between Josh and Saba, and Liko and Matteo were starting to like each other as well.

Even though Saba was starting to spend more time with Josh and less with him, Dingo didn’t feel left out. He started to hang around with Kodi and Balto more. They were even trying to convince him to join a sled team.

As the weeks went by, tension grew between the dogs of Nome and the dogs from Anchorage… (But you’ll have to read about that in my next story!)

Now that Dingo was back with the ones he loved, he always had a song stuck in his head. It went like this:

Everyone can see we’re together

As we walk on by

And we fly just like birds of a feather

I won’t tell no lie

All of the people around us they say

“Can they be that close?”

Just let me state for the record

We’re giving love like a family dose

We are family

I’ve got all my sisters with me

We are family

Get up, everybody, and sing!

Well, that’s Dingo’s story. Thanks to everyone who stuck with me and kept reading this, no matter how long it took me to write it! And make sure to keep an eye out for my next story: “Walking on Sunshine”!

I'm just curious as to why they would think that Saba's a boy.

Aww...small war because of ONE NAME?! Man what is wrong with PPL and I don't care if it will be spelled Sadä or Säbä sounds stupid when I will spell it because in Finland Ä.Å.Ö words are often used!
PS I finally get Microsoft Wordlol I just noticed that Word pad is useless
