Life was hard for Kodi. It was like his pals weren't around anymore. Balto and Jenna were busy, and his little sister Aleu was never coming back. He sighed as he layed down in the snow thinking about how his friends had an awesome time together. But for some reason, Kodi felt dizzy. He kept thinking of Dusty, the female of the bunch. Kodi smiled, remembering the moments Kodi had with her. Although he smiled, he thought about her deeply inside. Staring at the starry night sky, he stood idle and walked away from the spot, into Jenna and Balto's new home with Rosy. Rosy was now a teenager and kept spending less and less time with Jenna and the others. It broke Jenna's heart but Balto was always there to cheer her up. Just then a lound Clank startled them. 

"Ruff Ruff! Rrr..Ruff!" Mel barked.

"Mel? What are you doing here?" Kodi asked, confused.

"Ruff Ruff! Dusty! Ruff Ruff Ruff! Dusty's back!" Mel yellowed.

"Dusty...Dusty!!!!" Kodi shouted in joy, as he ran past Balto and Jenna. 

"Kodi!" Balto yelled after him. Jenna nuzzled him softly.

"Balto, don't worry. He'll be fine" She said with a smile. 

Balto grinned and layed next to her. "You always know what to say"

Kodi was running about with excitment in his eyes. 

"Dusty! Dusty! Its me, Kodi!" 

No response.

"Dusty!" He shouted again.

No response again.

Kodi started to walk around looking for her when------

"Ha! Gotcha!" A familiar voice bellowed.

"Dusty, Dusty!" Kodi grinned.

"It's been like, forever!" Dusty cried. Then softened a bit. "I really missed you.."

That hit Kodi. "Really? I missed you too"

Dusty grinned slightly, then frowned. "Things didn't go so well between me and ralph..."

Kodi sighed then looked up again, strucked with mixed emotions. "What? You loved him!"

Dusty shed a tear. "I did didn't I? Too bad. He didn't like me anyway. I saw him with another wolfdog"

Kodi felt broken. How could Ralph, his best friend, possibly do that to such a beautfiul wolfdog?

Kodi had anger build up inside of him. "Well, don't go back to him" 

Dusty turned around. "Why?"

"Don't. Stay here, with My family, Balto and Jenna, and most importantly, stay here, with me.." Kodi sighed, embarresed. "Sorry, but I can't let you go back"

Dusty smiled sweetly. "Thank you, Kodi" almost unexpectedley, she nuzzled Kodi as he blushed.

Kodi was amazed. He had a crush on Dusty for a long time. He nuzzled her back, and they felt the brush of love.

Later that day...

Kodi and Dusty were taking a stroll together as Balto and Jenna spotted them.

"Dusty? No. No, Kodi can't be with her!" Balto yelled. 

Jenna tried to calm him down. "Balto, settle down! I have to go, see you tomorrow Balto, bye"

Balto sighed. "Bye.."

"Dad! Dusty's back!" Kodi yelled from the doorway.

Balto groaned. "Owe brother...great..."

Kodi was too excited to see his father's expression or mood. Dusty was all he could think about. 

"Dad, I have something to tell you. Um..er.... Me and dusty...we kind of like each other now.." He smiled at Dusty and nuzzled her. But for some reason, Dusty wasn't buying it. 

"Um, Balto...I know you don't like me a lot.. but..."

Balto's eyes widened.

"We interupt this show for a warning alert! A Hurricane is brewing and will hit all further territories!"

Balto looked at the T.V. "Hurricane? Who turned the Tv on?"

Kodi shrugged.

"We need all citizens in the next segment of territories to find a place to hide preferably a place very strong. Do Not, we repeat DO NOT GO OUTSIDE"

Dusty spoke up.

"Balto, Jenna!"

"False alarm haha!"

"trollers..." Balto groaned.

Kodi and Dusty lived greatly, but they had arranged to actually and officially be mates. They both agreed and Balto and Jenna were pleased. 

Boris swooped in. 

"Now, Now. Hold it right there!" Boris spoke wisley.

"Balto, Are you ready to become a grandfather?" He whispers to Balto.

"Of course I am Boris, now stay out of this. I have work to do" Balto replied groaning.

Boris smirked. "Well then don't come crying to me when the little ones are jumping on you, biting your ears of an such. You know that they have to teeth, Balto"

Balto lied. "I'm ready Boris..."

Boris humphed and flew towards Kodi and Dusty.

"Hello cutie cutie pooches!"

Kodi rolled his eyes. "Hey uncle Boris...."

Dusty smiled and nuzzled Kodi. "Hey"

Boris smiled satisfied. 

"This is great, Kodi is finally a man-"

"HEY!!!"

"And Dusty has found her true love"

Dusty grinned and chuckled softly, still looking at her mate.

Kodi knew that life would be easier with Dusty around and he was proud of it.

9 months later...

"Kodi! Kodi!"

Kodi ran towards Dusty horrified that something was wrong.

"Kodi!"

"Dusty, whats wrong?!"

"I think i'm... i'm pregnant!"

Kodi sighed, then smiled sweetly. He nuzzled her and layed next to her.

"Thats great, to hear"

He grinned.

Dusty's tears dryed out.

"W-what? I Th-thought you would hate me and leave me and that you would never of wanted pups"

"Are you kidding Dusty? I was waiting a long time for pups, and I have te moment now, we can go through this, together" 

Dusty smiled and nuzzled Kodi.

Balto was staring at them from a distance smiling and rushed to Jenna to tell the news.

Jenna grinned happily and hugged Balto knowing that they'd be GrandParents soon.

Kodi and Dusty lived happily.

In about a few weeks the new off-spring were born. Kodi got to name the first 2 pups and Dusty the other.

"I'll call this one, Balto"

Kodi smiled at Dusty.

"And why is that?"

"Your father is really sweet and polite, I don't want to forget him"

Kodi nuzzled her.

"Thats great, honey"

"And I'll call this one, Ashley" Dusty smiled, pointing at the grey dog.

"Ok cool, I'll call this one Jack and her Sabrina" Kodi said, smiling.

"Those are beautiful names, Kodi" Dusty said, smiling.

Kodi knew that his future was bright, not only with Dusty, but also his pups. Balto and Jenna were happy too, but not as happy as Boris!
