This fan fic is based on a Song/poem fic. I will have the other one up shortly but I've been dying to do this one. For obvious reasons. Anyway leets start this off shall we. 

Aleu was just a little pup playing around when her father decided to teach her something different a way of jumping so high and far it would feel like you we're flying. He had called it pouncing it was also part of a hunting method use for wolves but of course Balto would never tell his daughter this.

Aleu was learning pretty well and easily made the first jump and spring with flying colours. Something different shined into this pups eyes and Balto wasn't sure what it would be he just hoped it made her happy.

Wind blowing on my face
Side walk flying beneath my paws
A nine month old's first taste
Of what freedom's really was

He was running right beside me
His paws staying close to me,
I took a deep breath and hollered
As I headed for the beach

The day arrived far too soon for Balto his little girl grew up into a pretty young adult. She was getting ready to become one with her first mate. There was a ceremony that happened whenever they're leader first chooses a mate. So it was rare at least until the next leader was picked. Aleu was nervous but it was another way of making her pa pa proud showing him she had grown up into that beautiful dog/wolf he had always wanted her to be.
 

I was standing at the altar
Between the two loves of my life
To one, I've been a daughter
To one, I soon would be a wife

When the elder asked
"Who gives this woman?"
Papa's eyes filled up with tears
He kept holding tightly to my arm
'Til I whispered in his ear"

It had been so long since that day. I was called back home on an important request from mother. When I had gotten to papa's boat I was shocked at what I had seen, My papa sitting there.. no laying there barely breathing his fur had turned grey, his eyes looked so cold but there was still a small hint of life in them almost like he had beed waiting just for me.

It was killing me to see the strongest wolf dog I ever knew
Wasting away to nothing in this old boat room
You know he's only hanging on for you

That's what my mom had said
My voice and heart were breaking
As I crawled up in his bed and said

Your baby girl is ready to do this on my own
