He’s a pathetic, selfish and disgusting fleabag who should be thrown for the humans!”
The leader smiled amused at her reaction towards her former pack leader.
“Well I have to agree with you there. That Nook has only gotten his place as leader because of his father.” He huffed. “But that doesn’t give you right to hunt on our territory nevertheless.”
“Urax, maybe we should take them to T.K?” the fourth wolf said. He had been standing alone while his pack mates had brought Anay and Bruno down. The leader who seemed to be the owner of the name Urax, seemed to ponder about his hunting companion’s suggestion.
“Very well. T.K is the one who takes the decisions. Maybe he can shed some light upon this situation.” Before he jumped off Anay he smirked. “I do think however he’ll like to hear about the news of Nook. Move it on!”
The two wolves let Bruno up and he and Anay got surrounded by the three as Urax took the lead and the six of them left the place.
“T.K? Who’s that? Someone you’ve heard of?” Anay asked Bruno as they walked side by side. But Bruno shook his head.
“I’m sorry Ana, I know nothing more than you. Only heard his name from one of the Betas in our old pack. But I didn’t pick anything up other than we have fought against this pack. So I shouldn’t get my hopes up if I were you…” The last sentence he whispered lower and Anay nodded. She understood that their chances were pretty small even if this T.K would enjoy hearing that they had been in a fight with Nook.
After just a few minutes they arrived to the strangers wolves pack. Other pack members got interested as they approached with the two strangers in the middle. This pack seemed a bit smaller than their old one and wherever Anay turned her gaze she could notice a special bond between all of them. ‘Not at all like the southern pack, where everyone mind their own business.’ Anay thought. The pack followed closely the six arrivals and then one silver and yellow colored female trotted forward, greeting Urax with a nuzzle.
“How did the hunt go? And who are you bringing with you Urax?” She asked in a soft voice. Urax smiled to this female and gave her a quick nuzzle back before turning the attention back to his captures.
“We caught them hunting on our grounds. But they have told us their story and we decided to take them to T.K. Don’t worry I think you’ll understand when you get to hear the entire story.”
“Oh… well T.K usually knows how to handle this kind of situations. He’s an intelligent leader.”
“Thank you for those kind words Terry. Now, will someone please explain this fuzz and why you bring two strangers instead of food?” A masculine, darker and powerful voice was heard and the pack immediately shifted their place, backing away a bit to make place for their leader. A large, muscular wolf approached them, his coat covered with thick black fur all over except for a small stripe on his back, muzzle and two circles around his blue eyes and some white that looked almost like a collar on a dog but bigger and it went together with the white on his belly and chest.
“T.K.” Urax nodded towards his leader. “I will tell you the story of these intruders, but I recommend that you first of all send some wolves to get our catch. If they follow our trail they’ll find a caribou waiting.”
“A caribou? Hm very well then.  Saske, take your group with you and get the caribou here while I try to nestle this mess out.”
A light shaded grey wolf nodded and soon five wolves left to get the caribou. Anay winced a little inside her knowing that the caribou could’ve been their food and not this entire pack’s.
T.K turned back to Urax, glancing at the two new wolves. “So? Will you now tell me my dear friend?”
Urax nodded.
“We found these two hunting on our territory. They were hunting the caribou that Saske and his troop is fetching now, but didn’t seem to be able to kill it. So I decided to end the chase and killed it for them. When I asked for their reason to intrude on our ground they told us they were from the Southern pack and were banished from it.”
“Banished?” The black and white leader raised one eyebrow looking puzzled. “Why banished? Have you brought trouble-makers to the pack?”
Urax rapidly shook his head. “No T.K, listen and I’ll explain and I think you’ll like this one.”
T.K seemed even more confused at his friend’s assumption. “How so?”
“You see, the pack leader of the Southern pack is as we both know Nook. Apparently, this fool had tried to mate with this female”, he made a pause to nod towards Anay. “When she refused they began to fight and the female’s friend here says he rescued her from dying. Nook then claimed them to have nearly murdered him and if it hadn’t been for one of the Elders they would’ve been dead by now. I took them here to you so you could help me judge this case. For sure they have been hunting on our grounds and for that they should be punished. But I think we can spare them since they had after all no other choice. What is your opinion?”
“Indeed my friend this is a very hard case to solve.” T.K sank into thoughts, eyeing the both intruders. After Urax had finished his story the rest of the pack had begun to silently mumble to each other, discussing what should be done with the two wolves. Some seemed to think that there was no doubt that they should be driven away if not punished. Others however seemed to be of same opinion as Urax and thought that they might be useful.
“I am unsure of how to judge this. And it’s even tougher judging when I don’t know who you are. Tell me your names.” T.K finely said.
“My name is Bruno, and this is Anay. We’ve traveled far in our search to find a new pack. We meant no harm hunting on your ground sir. We would never have done it in case we hadn’t been starving.”
“And you, are you his mate?” T.K turned his attention to Anay.
“Umh no sir. We’re just friends. Bruno is like a big brother to me.”
“Hm I see.” The leader passed back into deep thoughts.
Anay was feeling more and more nervous for each passing second. The choice of this leader could either save them or it’d send them back into the wild with an unknown future but that had a high risk of getting them both killed. She felt a need to convince this male to let them stay. So she took a step forward, positioning her body in a lower state with her tail low and her ears a bit back to show her submission.
“Sir..? If you bear to listen. I am an excellent hunter and would try my best to provide this pack with food if you let us stay. Bruno and I are quite a good team and it would give you an advance if you got more pack members that could do the hunting.”
“It would also give us more mouths to feed.” T.K grunted back. He surveyed the scenery, trying to find a reason to let them stay. She seemed very small but there were no doubts in that she could be a skilled hunter. And she was right; they could need two more on the hunting. And maybe they would even be useful to help him one day in bringing Nook down. Urax had been right on his assumption that his leader would like to hear that these two had fought against Nook since T.K hated Nook more than anything. In his eyes, Nook was nothing more than an insect that should be taken away the title of being leader of a pack.
“Very well. I’ve made a temporarily decision. You’re allowed to stay but only until I know who you really are. If you ever try hurting my pack or do something to obey my rules or the Betas orders I will send you away. I will tolerate no fighting among this pack and if you try to steal I will let the one you stole it from punish you however he or she wish except by killing you. Are we clear?”
Anay felt like her heart had stopped beating at the announcement. She nodded rapidly. “Yes sir. We understand. Thank you so much sir!”
T.K frowned at the female’s word decision and huffed. “And drop that ‘Sir’ thing, it doesn’t sound good. I’m not a tyrant.” With that he left the scenery and let the rest of the pack examine the two new members of the pack. Anay smiled widely to Bruno and he smiled warmly back to her. At last the luck seemed to have turned to their side. She knew she’d do anything in her power to make the leader like he so he’d let her stay.

Anay and Bruno quickly learned the ways and rules of this pack. It was a big change to what the Southern pack had been. This pack was a lot more harmonic and worked entirely as a team, no matter if it was hunting or scouting. Even the adults could fall into playing when there was time to waste. Anay enjoyed being in this pack but she worked hard to satisfy T.K. As the winter closed in they all had to work hard to get food for the day. The temperature dropped below zero and when the snow came all the wolves moved into the big cave for shelter and warmth by lying huddled close to each other. Even Anay and Bruno noticed they were huddled against.
One night when their hunting had gone without success Anay lied awake, her stomach rumbling. She curled up and tried to think about something else in order to make the hunger ease. But she was used to having decent portion of food every day. She sighed when she realized she had been very lucky growing up in such a wealthy territory as the Southern pack owned. It was a pity it was ruled by such a

Oh, to be continued. Haha.

Maybe you could make a little twist and more character development here. Everything went by to fast for me. Could slightly imagine the character and the situation. Need to develop the atmosphere of the story too.

Overall, I enjoyed it. Keep it up, sister.
