we didn't have any cars but just sleds, and shown him our own,,, which was covered with a red blanket, "Balto stared at it, and nodedd his head sightly grining "Good, very good!" he said, the next thing you need are 5 dogs to pull the sled, Tribu, Arrate, Micky and I walked fast to our places and put on our own harnesses, "there is still a spot mmissing, just after the lead dog, this one could be really helpful, we needsomeone faster, and strong, "I'lll fix the empty spot", said Angie , something that made me feel afraid, it was a dangeorus journey and i couldn't permit her to get hurt "Listen Angie, don't you think you'd be better here?, i really fear loosing you", i told her my oppinion about that, "i can take care of myself Emilio, plus Cody is also my friend, let me help you to, please, i also wish to save him." she asked, and how could i deny anything to those depth blue eyes, that beautiful face, "Okay, come with us" i said smiling, i was actually glad she cared about me, and honestly, what se said before, made me fall even more in love with her, i adored that feeling, the ilusion of having an adventure beside the ne you love, is actually marvellous, dear reader, if you ever hve teh chance to, i'd recommend you to acept nddon't doubt about it, go on and live the adventure, the feelings you¡ll eperience in teh same moment will flip you out and make you the happiest person in teh world, but heh, back to the subjet, e had everything ready, a sled, a wonderful team, teh fifth spot filled by the perfect person... all we needed was a musher, but where could we find someone who wanted to do this journey? but well we had almost everything we needed to save Cody, and i had a feling we'd get get a musher soon, it was everything a cuestion of waaiting with faith and keep on believeing

A brighter tomorrow

A ccouple of days after, i asked Angie to stay with us aat Home, Lonard Seppala seemed to be away in a travel, and we were alone, beeing feed by his neighbor, we spent time alone, which woorked out to give yus time to mke up a new plan, could we pass without a musher?,we were sitting on the living room, yes, n the sofa, beside the boiler, which was always up, Arrate and Tribu were sitting together on the right sofa,, me and Angie were togetehr on the front one, and Micky, just spent tim lying down at the top of the right sofa, "without a musher we can't do anything, they won't let us take the blood transfussions anywhere," said Arrate worryied about the subjet as much as we were "Don't worry" said Balto all templed. "I think i might get information about it, probably there are outher plans out and we don't know", he said promissing to get more information as soon as possible

a couple of days later i kept spending my time really worried, i went everyday with Angie to take a look at the hospital, Cody was getting bald, he used to have black sihtly long and shoft hair, and you can't imagine how much hurt to me the fact of seeing his head completely empty, his pale skin, his weakness... my heart got brokeninto a million pieces, "i got to do something" i tought to myself, i took a look at the door, it was open, "watch that Angie!" i said to her "eh,, if you're thinking what i believe you're thinkin, hmm.bad idea honey," she told me shaking her heard and droping her head "baby i really can't stand here without doing nthing, let me at least greet him, let him know i never forgt about him, i hope, even when humans can't understand us, let him know that we are going to save him and everyone else here with his problem, just that," Angie noded her head afraid of something, i could notice it, what? you wodnering?, don't ask me i don't know, well i came towards her and nuzzled her with my muzzle, we weren't exactly mates but i think she alredy realised i loved her more than anything, since she let me nuzzle her and she treated me like if i was more than just a friend, another reason to be happy about, i lved teh touch of her fur with mine, and much more the heat of her breathe on my muzle and my ears, it was a feeling i used to dislike but, i wouldn't change it for literally anything.. so , i cheered my heart a little up by nuzzling her and tried to come slowly into the hospital, as soon as i put my right paw on the first piece of floor, i could ralize the hospital was empty, apparently empty at least, so i proceeded to put my left paw as welll into it, and slowly came into the hospital, walking over the wood the floor was made of, feeling my nails shocking with it and doing a sound i really tried to stop, i believed the hospital was apparently empty but still, never say never, nothing is simpossible so i tried to don't call the attention very much, and then i finally seen cody's room, it was closed, but i could smell his smell, and also his weakness, and his disease, it was so sad and annoying to know about this... i  howled in teh door, i bet you might be thinking "what a genius, he said he didn't want to call the attention and his best idea to let ody know he was here is howling in the door of teh hospital..." yeah right bad idea, sorry, eh jeje, but later i tried by scratching the door with my nails, until i finally heard the door oppening and a sight bright coming from it's crack, coming bigger "Emilio!" tried to say cody gathering all his strenghts, i seen his fae.. how sad is see yoru best friend with his eyes surrounded by a greish death color, bald and pale, smell his weakness and his disease.. and see him fll to the floor with puting his small and cold hand in teh back of yoru neck, i tried to lick his cheekc softly, i wanted to let him know i would always be there, but then, he fainted in teh floor, i got afraid and tried to bring him back by kicking his whole face, but then a huge man came towards me and kicked me in the stomach,,, i fet like it was about to explode, my mouth begun to taste like blood, and then, tbbefore giving me the chance of standing up the man grabbed me by my pelt and pushed me out of the hospital bu kicking me again, all i could see is Angie jumpin over him, and him closing the fdoor fastly, awww.. it hurted a LOT, you can't imagine, i couldn't stand up in like seven minutes until the hurt went away, Angie came towards me really worried "Are you okay? pelase answer please! i hate some humans," she said poking me with her muzzle, "yes, i'm dine" i said hardly, "oh godness.. i need tod o something2 she said, "nono, it's fine, don't worry about me, i'm just fine" i said trying to calm her down even tought my mouth kept tasting like blood and each time i coughed i pushed a little... but well i'm here to talk abot my life not just teh disgusting things so, she stood beside mem for a long while... i was the happiest dog in teh world, even tought i ws pushing blood whenever i coughed, i woudl give anything to feel again her shoft pokes, her paws over my back, his tongue licking my cheecks... i felt like i was corresponded, although i wasn't sure about it, well better that than anything!

"Emilio!" said a masculine broken voice from the background, Angie and I stared straight forward and seen teh shape of a wolf coming up to us, yes it seemed to be a wolf, but once we got the chance of seeing it closer, i noticed it was Balto, "i got fresh news guys!", he said "you're going to love this" he said trying to recover his breath, he seemed to have done a long walk today.. "Listen, Listen, i've been this morning to white mountain, dogs from there said, there was someone interested in mushing a dog team, the team was actually served, this means... the team was actually picked, but they have rejected to work for it for the dangerousness of the travel, so why don't you fill their places guys? you have to be there before 13:00 tomorrow right after the lunchtime" a feeling of happyness came up to my mind provokin on me a huge smile and the hurt of my stomach dissapear, not the taste though,but i was grateful to all of that, WOW it was true, you don't need a shooting star to make a wish!, i jumped off teh snow, Angie smiled ta me, I smiled at her as well and pasted my forehead on hers "Thank you, cndy" i said, "candy?" you might be wondering, well, it was my bets idea in that moment.. i recognic i should have said something else... but well i'm not a really creative mind,

We both went back to my home as soon as we could, we had to tell them that our journey would begin tomorrow after lunchtime, so they could be ready for such a long travel, "Thanks for these soluctios heaaven" i said and never knew it would be like that,

We came into the house by the small dog entrance, my team were all sleeping in the living room, it was somewhat late already, but guess what? i had to, i couldn't avoid shouting in front of everyone "GUYS! freshh news here!" yeah, like spoking someone while sleeping is funny... you might be thinking, well dear reader understand my excitment, i had the chance of saving my best friend between my paws, so i couldn't avoid showing my feelings there "I GOT FRESH NEWS!" i "shouted again to call their attention and bring them back to the earth form the worlds they seemed to be in...

"We've got a new mission, according to Balto white mountain is sending in a musher and nome will send the team, so, why don't we pretend to be teh picked team?, all we have to do is fill our places at the sled and be in white mountain tomorrow before 13:00 pm,"  i said waging my tail and bowing on
