I meant to review this when it first came out, but it was late and I never got around to it. I reread it and thought I'd comment. This one is really good and it makes me hungry for more. I like how Toby's relationship with Mel is very different than his relationship with Caspar. Now Balthazar just needs his own fanfic... I only have one question: Wasn't Mel adopted by a musher? Anyway, keep up the good work!

As for the names, I'm pleased you caught that. The boys' names, and those of the biological girls, are explained in Part 12.

Nice fanfic! I'd forgotten how much I missed reading about Toby and Luna and their family. The story was very sweet; it kind of reminded me of how my character Copper felt towards Balto in my 'A Second Chance' stories. It was also interesting to see Pete being "Uncle Pete"! Overall, very nice story. I look forward to more. P.S. This was probably answered in one of your other fanfics, but why are Toby's sons named after the three Wise Men?
