Sam's eyes snapped open, he gasped. "Jordan!" He bolted out of the old abandoned cabin. "Jordan! Jordan!" He kept yelling. When he reached Jordan's house, he scratched on the door. He waited a while,  "Ugh, This is taking to long." Sam groaned. He looked around for an entrance. "Aaha!" He yipped, jumping through an old broken window. "Jordan, Jordan! Wake up!"  He said when he was finally in Jordan's house.

     Jordan snapped awake. "Woah, Woah, What is it?" She asked. She nudged Sam, and said, "Why are you up so early?" Sam shook his head. "This is bad, Steele is coming back to Nome!" Jordan looked puzzled. "But how would you know?" She asked. Sam sighed. "The white wolf, Aniu, she told me." Sam nudged Jordan. "Trust me."  Jordan sighed. "Maybe we should go talk to Balto?" Jordan suggested. Sam nodded and took off out the door, Jordan following.

In the meantime, Balto was busy teaching Kodi, Kirby and Dusty how to run like a pro sled dog. "Ok, Dusty you try it now." Dusty nodded and took her mark. "Go!" Balto yelped. Dusty bolted away from the starting line. She sprinted around the pond, Balto's old ship home and back. "Good. Now Kirby, Your turn." Kirby smiled, and puffed his chest. He stood at the starting line, right foot in front. "GO!" Balto barked. Kirby took off, but when he got to the pond, He slid to a stop. "Get out of the way!" He snapped at Jordan. Jordan growled and looked Kirby straight in the eyes. "Oh, You wanna go?!" He snarled. Sam jumped in between Jordan and Kirby. "Don't." He said to Kirby. "Don't even go there, She'll tear you apart." Jordan nodded in agreement. Balto walked over to Kirby, Jordan and Sam. "Whats going on?" He asked. "Balto, I need your help." Sam sighs. "Its about Steele, He's coming back to Nome." Kodi, Kirby and Dusty gasped. "No, It can't be!" Kodi barked. "Yes, Its true. And he has a horrible plan." Sam admitted sadly. "He wants to kill you, Balto." Balto sighed and looked down at his paws. "I know. I've known this since he ever disappeared after the serum run." Kodi looked worried. "But, What are we gonna do? We can't let him think we know he's coming." Kirby groaned. "Wait, How do we know Steele is coming, first of all." Balto shot Kirby a disgusted look. "Aniu." Balto said.

The gang sat around for a while, thinking of something to prepare for Steele's return. After about five minuets, Kodi blurted out, "I got it! We throw a party, Steele is more than likely to show up and crash it." Balto looked at Kodi with a puzzled look. "What are you trying to get at?" Balto asks. "We get some of the bigger sled dogs, Like the ones that ran the serum with you dad, They just keep watch, and when Steele shows up, They can gang up on him!"  Kodi said. The gang  thought that Kodi's plan was crazy and it would never work. "A party? Really?" Sam asked Kodi. "Kodiac, Life isn't about parties..." Balto said. "And the dogs I ran the serum with, Kaltag and Nikki and Star? They aren't as big and strong as they used to be." Kodi sighed, "Yeah, I guess." Then looked around the room. Jordan was thinking long and hard about this. "Wait, Wait a minute. I have an idea." They all looked up at her. "Well, What is it?" Jordan grinned and said, "Ambush." Balto smiled as if she had just read her mind. "And, Theres our plan."

  Aleu struggled as she made her way through the snow with her pack. "C'mon, We have to keep moving!" She said to Sumac, Nuk and Yak. Nuk groaned. "Will there be food in Nome? I'm starving." Aleu shot him a disgusted look. "Is that all you think about? Food?" Aleu snapped. "We're almost there, Quit your complaining." Sumac bounded ahead, next to Aleu. "Why are we going to Nome anyway?" He asks. "My father needs my help." Aleu sighs. She stops and looks ahead and howls to signal Balto.

Balto, In the meantime, was on his way to talk to his old friends, Nikki, Kaltag and Star. Balto heard Aleu's howl. "Aleu," He muttered. "What did you say, dad?" Kodi asks. "You kids go talk to Kaltag, Nikki and Star about the plan! I'll be right back!" Balto said, bounding away toward Aleu.

Balto howled back and forth between Aleu, until he saw her. "Aleu! What are you doing here? You should be leading your pack." He nuzzled Aleu. "I know papa, but I brought three of them along." Nuk collapsed at Balto's feet. "Where's the food?" He asked. Sumac laughed. "That is all he- he thinks about! Fo-f-food!" Balto laughed a little to say he agreed and looked back at Aleu. "We need your help."

Balto led Aleu and her three pack members into town, and into the boiler room were every one was meeting up. Once Balto stepped in the room, Every one was relieved. "Balto, We thought it was all a trick! Wolves howlin' to ya like that!" Nikki blurted out. "Yeah dad, we thought tha-" Kodi began but stopped as soon as Aleu and her three pack members stepped in the room. "WOLVES!" Kaltag shouted. They all stood up with their teeth bared and hair standing up on their backs. All except Jordan. Jordan recognized Aleu and she wasn't about to turn on her est friend. "Aleu.." She muttered. Aleu was busy growling, too. She wasn't about to take any risks. "Aleu!" Jordan said it louder. Everyone stopped and looked back at Jordan. "Aleu, It's me, Jordan!" She stepped forward, smiling. Aleu, on the other hand still wasn't taking any risks. "Aleu... Don't you remember me?" Aleu stopped for a moment and looked at Jordan straight in the eyes. "Blue," She thought. "Just like... Just like that old beta... Jordan. That old beta Jordan."  She suddenly remembered. It was Jordan, the old beta in her pack. Niju had forced her to leave. "Jordan! You're Jordan!" Aleu said. "You were in my pack!" Her voice started to get louder. "Jordan.."
