"Got you!" Kodi yelled.

"Kodi, that isn't fair!" Ciara said.

"Yeah, why can't we just do something else." Saba said.

"Yeah, about we go play with Muk and Luk." Dingo said.

"Yeah, especially since their hysterical." Saba said.

"Yeah." Kodi said, sighing sadly.

"Kodi, what's the matter?" Ciara asked.

"Well, I. . . I miss Aleu." Kodi said.

"Oh, yeah." Ciara said.

"But, at least papa's back." Saba said.

"But, we lost two siblings." Kodi said.

"Yeah, we lost Kaylie and Aleu, but we didn't lose them." Dingo said.

"Well, yeah, their still alive, but still." Kodi said.

"Well, let's go play with Muk and Luk." Saba said.

"I'm going in the forest, so I can, you know, explore." Dingo said.

"I'll come with you" Ciara said.

"Well, see you later." Saba said.

Saba and Kodi ran towards their father boat. Dingo and Ciara played tag. "Whoa, look at that butterfly!" Ciara said. "No, Ciara don't chase the-" But, Ciara already started chasing the butterfly. She then fell over a log. "Ow!" she said. Then, she saw a shadow. She walked towards it. It was just a frog. But, then, she sweared she didn't see what she saw. She walked towards it. She saw a big dog. It looked down at her, with it's yellow eyes. They were glowing. She gulped. Then it got out of the dark. "Are you. . .are you scared of me?" he asked. "Uh, no, but you just looked scary in the dark." Ciara said. "Oh, don't be scared, I'm just a regular wolf." he said. "What's your name?" Ciara asked. "My name is Ad." he said. "It's sounds like add but it only has one d." he said. "Well, you want to come back home with me?" Ciara asked. "Oh no, I got a family, too." he said. "Oh, you do?" Ciara asked. "Oh, not the kind of family your thinking of." Ad said. "Oh, so you don't have a mate or puppies?" she said. "Correct." Ad said. "Now, I think you should get back home." Ad said. "Oh, ok." Ciara said. "Bye." she said. "Bye." Ad said.

"Ciara!" Dingo yelled.

"Ciara!" Balto yelled.

"I'm here!" Ciara yelled.

"Where in the world have you been?!" Balto asked.

"Well, I . . . I met a wolf in the forest."

"A what?" Balto asked.

"A wolf." Ciara said.

"What did he try to do to you?" Balto asked.

"Did he try to hurt you or. . .?" Balto asked.

"No, he's very nice." Ciara said.

"Really?" Balto asked.

"Really." Ciara said.

"Well, I want you to go inside the house until it;s dark out." Balto said

"But papa. . ." Ciara said.

"You scared the world out of your siblings and me when we couldn't find you!" Balto yelled.

"Now obey." Balto said.

"Yes." Ciara said.

Then, Balto walked towards the beach, and he sat down. "Balto, what's the matter?" a voice asked. "Oh, hey Jenna." Balto said. "I heard about Ciara." Jenna said. "She just. . . she just can't run off like that." Balto said. "Or, your afraid about the wolf." Jenna said. "You heard about that part, too?" Balto asked. "Yes, but she wasn't hurt when you saw her, was she?" Jenna asked. "Well, no but. . ." Balto said. "But, you don't want to lose another one." Jenna said. "Yeah." Balto said. "Aleu and Kaylie already left us and joined a wolf pack." Balto said. "And, I just. . . I just don't want Ciara to leave us, too." Balto said. "Well, tell her how you feel." Jenna said. "Now, I got to get back to my girl." she said. "And you got to get back to your boat." she said. She ran away. Balto looked at his reflection in the water. He then  saw his reflection, then another. It was some kind of white wolf. But then, it dissapeared. Balto didn't understand. He then said, "I keep seeing things." Balto then walked onto the boat. He got under his blanket, and fell asleep.

"Balto." a female voice said.

"Balto." a female voice said again.

"Who are you?" Balto asked.

"You must know something." she said.

"What?" he asked.

"Your daughter, Ciara, will soon find her true love." she said.

"But who?" he asked.

"You'll find out." she said.

Then, she howled.

"Balto!" a voice yelled. "Boris, don't yell in my ear like that!" Balto yelled. "Now, it's time to go play with your children, yes?" Boris asked. "well, yes, but I had another dream." Balto said. "About what?" Boris asked. "About, well . . . about Ciara." he said. "What was it?" Boris asked. "I can't tell you until I find out." Balto said. "Now, I'm going to go find Ciara and the others." Balto said. "Ok, then I'm coming." Boris said. "Why do you want to come?" Balto asked. "I, too, want to know what your means." Boris said. "Then, you might as well come with me." Balto said. Balto then saw Jenna and his children. "Jenna!" Balto yelled. "Balto, how are you?" Jenna asked. She nuzzled him. "Where's Ciara?" Balto asked. "She said she had something important to do." Jenna said. "Did she tell you what it was?" Balto asked. "Well, no, but she came out of the house with two bags." Jenna said. "Well, where did she go?" Balto asked. "I think she was headed towards the forest." she said. "I'm going see what she's up to." Balto said. "Wait for me!" Boris yelled. Boris ran as fast as he could to catch up to Balto. "I think I see a shadow." Balto said. "Ciar-" Boris said. "Shut up." Balto said quietly. Balto carefully walked towards the bushes. He decided to hide there. " Ad, Ad, where are you?!" Ciara yelled. "Right here." a wolf said, carrying a big animal, that had some blood on it. "Oh, uh, I don't. . . I don't really eat meat." Ciara said. "You might as well try." Ad said. He pushed some meat towards her. "Well, I suppose I'll try." Ciara said. Balto couldn't hide anymore. He was going to keep her away from that wolf.

" Move away!!!!!!!!!" Balto yelled.

Balto growled.

" Papa, you stop it!" Ciara yelled, jumping infront of Ad.

" He's a wolf." Balto said.

" You shouldn't trust." he said.

" Your a wolf, too!" she yelled

Balto gasped.

" Does that mean you couldn't trust your own mother?!" Ciara yelled.

" No, no, no, Ci. . . Ciara, how could you?" Balto asked.

" How could you be against your own father?!" Balto yelled.

" Cause, your part wolf, and my grandmothers a wolf!" Ciara yelled.

" Does that mean if she was still alive, you wouldn't trust her either?" Ciara asked.

" Forget it!" Balto yelled.

Balto kicked the piece of meat towards the river. He then ran away. "Dad, I'm. . . I'm sorry." Ciara said. Then, Ciara sniffled. She then nuzzled Ad. Ad was shocked. Why was she nuzzling him? Ad then realized she just needed someone to nuzzle, in order to feel better. Ciara later on ran back home. She ran towards her fathers boat. And, she jumped on the boat. But, all she saw, was her mother, Jenna. "Ciara, how could you?" she asked. "How could I what?" Ciara asked. "How could you ask your father about. . . about." she said. "About what?" Ciara asked again. "About his mother." Jenna said. "Well, he said he didn't trust-" Ciara said. "He just wants to protect." Jenna said. "He misses Aleu and Kaylie, and he doesn't want you to go, too." Jenna said. "Well, I. . . I." You can't take back what you said, your father is so upset, that he. . . he." she said. "He what?"  Ciara asked. "That he tore up my bandana." Jenna said. Ciara looked where Jenna was looking, and saw the tore up, orange bandana. "I'm so sorry." Ciara said. "And, I've had that bandana ever since I was a little puppy." Jenna said. "And, if you want to say sorry to anyone, then you might as well say sorry to your father." Jenna said. "That is, if you really feel that way." Jenna said. Later on, Ciara finally found her dad in the forest, sniffling.

" Papa, I'm sorry." Ciara said.

" I know you are." Balto said.

" But, when I was just a puppy, my whole family and me got separated." Balto said.

" But, I remember, that she was as white as snow." Balto said.

" And, I think she was as quiet as the snow, too." Balto said.

" So, your saying, that she didn't really talk." Ciara said.

" Yes, but she howled." Balto said.

" Well, I'm going." Ciara said.

" Where?" Balto asked.

" I'll tell you later!" Ciara yelled, as she ran towards the forest.

Ciara kept running. She finally saw Ad. But, he was crying. He had scars. That were bleeding. "Ad!" Ciara
