A creature unknown hides in the hills;
Silent they are in the time that Kills.
I sit on the porch, For I hope the come;
To come closer than most in the cold that numbs.
A howl in the distance lightens my day.
I knew he'd come, to play all day.
Nothing lasts forever.
The sun sinks low,
They whisper a good bye, then trot up the hills,
As I await for their return from where their home lays.
Good bye wolves, I await you.
