I don't remember the day I was born... I will never know. All I know, it's that I have five siblings: Two brothers, three sisters. I do remember the day we went at the beach, all the family. Daddy showed me the high trees. I was so young, and I loved climbing to the trees. I always failed and I fell, but I always gave another chance. My brothers and I tried to have the attention of the females. I was the most charming one, with my shiny blue eyes. But our sisters says they are better than us. I don't believe them. Girls can be really weird sometimes. Anyway. When I was little, i played with Aleu a lot. Yes, she was different, but who cares? I did had a lot of fun with my siblings. I also remember the day that Rosie, Jenna's owner, wanted to gave us a bath. I hated taking baths. When it was my turn, I remember, I was getting of her arms but after, I fell in the bath. Everyone laughed, but I was really mad. I was just a baby in that time.

One day, we went behind a house. Me and my siblings were in a box. It was the adoption day. Every of my siblings were worried, my daddy too, but I was really excited. I wanted to have a owner like mommy. I asked daddy if he was getting a human too. He told me that humans prefered pups like me and he rubbed my head. I smiled to him. I don't know if he says right. Most adults dogs are loved by their owners. I waited so long to get adopted. Then, I finally got a owner! It was a little boy. He took me with him and I said by to my parents and siblings. My mom cried and when I saw her like that, I was sad for her, but I was sure she was happy.

When I got in my new home, five pups were there. Strange, five, like my siblings. It was kind an illusion for me. Three pups sounded rude, but the two others sounded friendly. I followed my new owner.

''Look Dad!, yelled the little boy. I got a surprise for you!''

''What is it, Shawn?, said Phil, the dad.

''I got another pup for your team! You have six dogs now, you can make your sledding team now!''

''Shawn! Where did you get that puppy?, asked Phil

''Free pups were for adoption! Do you like him?''

''Yes... yes I do!''

'' Are you going to make your team now? asked Shawn.

I asked my self: A team? what team? I didn't knew what he talked about, so I listened to them.

''Not right now, son, said Phil. They are too young, we have to wait when they will be older. We still can do some training with them.''

'' Oh...'' Shawn made a little sad face, but then had a big smile on his face. ''We can do some training now!''

'' Maybe tomorrow. Your little friend must be tired.''

'' Ok. Hey, we didnt find him a name yet! He has awesome blue eyes! Can we call him... Rubber?''

Rubber? I'm not a rubber! I'm a dog! Find me a dog name, for the love of god!

''No, how about... Toby?''

''I love that name!''

Toby was a perfect name for me. That's strange, my parents called me like that... really really weird.

''Alright! said Phil. Let's go to bed! You have school tomorrow!''

''Can Toby stay with me for the night? asked Shawn.

''Why not? But until I'll get a bed for him, you can sleep with him.''

''Thanks!''

I was happy to sleep with my owner. The dogs were rude at me, again. One day, one of the dogs went to me. His name was Blanco.

''Well well, seems like the new pup wants to make the leader, huh?''

''No, I just... want to be friends with everyone, I said, with a little smile.

'' you've heard everybody? laughed Blanco. He wants to be our friend.''

'' And if he tries to get my toy? laughed another dog.

Blanco hits the puppy.

''Shut up, Randy! he doesnt care of your stupid toy.''

'' you can't hit him! Thats not nice!, I said angrily'.

''Are you god or something? asked Blanco. You try to make peace, but you can't!''

''yeah, you are weird, that's why it doesn't work! said another puppy.

''Good call, Nate!''

''Thanks Blanco!''

''Alright, stop making fun of me! I yelled.

''No!''

''Oh, guys, will you please stop? growled a female puppy.

Blanco couldn't talk. He growled and went away with the others.

''thanks..., I said. You won't hurt me, uh?''

''No, laughed the female dog. I can be your friend. My name is Lisa. Blanco is such a bad dog.''

''And I'm Jemma, blushed the other female pup. Nice to meet you Toby''

''Hi Jemma, I said. But... why Blanco is so bad with me?''

''Blanco hates the new dogs, said Lisa. He doesn't want them to steal his place of the ''leader''.

''But us, we like making new friends! said happily Jemma. when Nate was new, we were best friend with him!''

'' Is Nate the brown puppy who is with Blanco and..., I asked them.

''And Randy, yes, said Lisa. Nate was our best friend, until he became friends with Blanco and Randy.''

''what happened? i asked her.

They told me about their friendship, and that Blanco asked Nate if he could be his and Randy's friend. Nate accepted, and then he became bad. Apparatly, blanco is using him. I tought myself it was sad, that a friend was using the other. For me, it was betraying. Friends are suppose to have fun.

''Then, we can be friends! I told them.

''You mean it? asked Jemma.

''Of course I do!''

''then, we are friends! said Lisa.

They became my first friends. I played with them all day, it was really fun. But a day completly changed my life. One day, it was the training day. The older owner, who's name is Phil, trained us. We were running everywhere, jumping, swimming. For me, it was really fun. I made a really hard part: putting a harness on us. I didn't knew how it worked. The brown puppy, Nate, saw me and rolled eyes. He came to me and looked at me in a weird way.

''Do you want me to help you? He said.

'' That will be a good start! I said, while I was bitting a part of those ridiculous things.

Then he took my paw and placed it in the good place. I looked at him with a strange face. How did he know that? Then, he took the harness and place it on me on the good spots. I looked at him again in a strange way. How did he do? He noticed my look.

''What? Why are you looking at me that way? he said. you must thank me!''

''Oh sorry. Uh, thank you, I said shily.

'' What, you didn't know what to do with it? It is easy, he said.

''no... I I never do those things... how do you know that?''

'' I learned like that! I'm an easy learner, laugh Nate.

I laughed with him. He was kind of nice.

''Hum... this is probably not of my things, I said, but... why you are not friends with Lisa and Jemma anymore? They are cool!''

'' Hum, Long story, he says. If I tell you something, you won't tell Blanco or Randy, uh?''

'' I won't! I said.

'' ok, he said. I want to re became friends with Jemma and Lisa. But they will never forgive me, after what I did!''

'' I'm sure that what you did can be forgiven, i said friendly. You should apologize.''

''Thanks, he said. I,m sorry for being bad with you... friends?''

'' Sure! I said. gotta go!''

''Bye! said Nate.

Then, at the evening, I saw Nate with the girls. I went with them.

'' you are friends again? I asked.

''Yep! thanks to you, buddy! said proudly Nate.

'' does Blanco know? I asked.

'' i told Blanco, he didnt wanted to be friends with me... now he hates me.''

'' oh... I said. Sorry.''

'' no prob! Have a seat Toby! He said.

Then, we talked and we laugh. That was strange, but Nate became my best friend. Except the presence of my ennemies, I was really happy as a pup. I will never forget that.
