Lonely Pup

Deep in the forest somewhere,

A wolf pup lies in pain,

A wolf pup with no pack,

A wolf pup with no fears,

Its eyes are sealed up,

Its ears are sealed up,

The pup is lost in dreams,

May it go to Shelainy,

And walk apon the stars,

With other pups so helpless,

That they were left behind,

In the stars the pups can hear,

In the stars the pups can see,

In the stars the pups are free,

To run and jump on stars,

May this pup survive,

And taste its first elk,

Swim in its first pond,

Mark its first tree,

May this pup know,

The wounds of battles,

The howls of joy,

The whimpers of pups,

The brightness of the sun,

The lightness of the moon,

May this pup have pups of its own,

And find a mate so kind,

Why does this pup have to live,

Why does this pup have to die,

This pup should become great,

This pup should become wise,

Let this pup live,

Let this pup die,

I hate to just sit here,

And listen to it cry,

The pup is mewling,

The pup is whimpering,

Its wants some wolf to pick it up,

And bring it home to survive,

I am so sad for every pup,

That had to die so soon,

They didn't have a chance,

They only had one life,

So does this poor pup,

I wonder how it got here,

Either abandoned,stole,or trapped here,

This pup lying there,

Lying in no pain,

Lying with no thoughts,

This pup has passed away,

Gone to Shelainy to play in the stars.
