It's a cute story, but it needs more work. Try throwing in a few more plot twists next time and see what happens. Like, what if Kodi and Dusty came within a fraction of an inch of fessing up, but then somehow ended up with other dogs (say, she ends up with Ralph or Kirby and he ends up with some OC girl dog), and they have to work their way out of that mess before they can be together?
Just a suggestion.
