but Yama wanted to stay. She practiced slicing leaves and grass in half and I asked her what she was doing. Yama told me that she was practicing to be a great warrior, like her uncle." One tear rolled down Hazayata's face, and he began the story, "Sama was very social and gentle, if you can believe it. He loved the world and loved running. But one day a gang of dogs came and cornered him. They told him he was a weakling becaus he wasn't as fast as me, or as strong. This hurt Sama, and he ran to us. My parents, Sanja and Calamity, conforted him, and when they were gone he looked at me for comfort. I was a very proud dog back then, of my running and fighting skills. So I told him he should be a bit more tougher, and to get over it. I shouldn't have said it, because that was the last night I ever saw him. All I know is that he is alive, and he was trained to be an assasin from another assasin named Chamic. I regrett what I said terribly." The group ran on in silence.

Cyrus had settled his group down to rest, and he was thinking back to when Jautri had called him back to the den. Nobody else knew of the meeting with Jautri, only the two of them. Jautri had told him which wolves and dogs he was to find. He didn't know them, but he soon would.  They had been resting for awhile, so Cyrus called his group to keep going. Running on and on, they stopped when they reached the edge of another pack's territory. Cyrus sniffed the air, "Alright group. I am going to howl to them, and hopefully they won't be hositile. Ying, Melinda, try to keep quiet. I will do the talking." Cyrus stepped forward one step, threw back his head, and howled loudly. A few seconds later, a howl answered his. Cyrus sat down and waited. A few moments later, a gray and white wolf and a white wolf with some brown, ran towards them. The white one, the female, was growling. But the gray one looked calm. He spoke, "I am Silverclaw, the alpha male of the Dense Forest Pack and brother of Balto. This is my mate, Suki. What are you doing on our land?" Cyrus stepped up to him, "I come from the Aurora Borealis Pack, 20 miles away from here. A evil pack that shares our border has given us six days to prepare for battle. We were sent by our leaders to gather dogs and wolves who might help us. We were told to come and get you. Will you help us?" Silverclaw whispered something to Suki, and she nodded. Suki spoke, "If you can grab my neck and pin me down, we will come with you. But if I pin you, you must leave our terriotory. Do we have a deal?" Cyrus closed his eyes and thought about it. Finally, he opened his eyes, "I accept your challenge. I will fight you, and I will win."

Sirinia was walking with her group through tall trees. Jasmine had spoken to her about finding two small groups of wolves. They were a bit far away, but she would make sure she would find them. Her group was almost at their first stop, and Sirinia stopped. Cam walked up to her, "Sirinia, why did we stop? We need to find them. Yama looked at her sharply, "Do you know who your talking about, Cam? This could be one of the greatest assasins in all of the world. We don't want to look like a threat to his family, otherwise we won't be able to complete our mission." Ryan turned to Yama, "Yama! Don't scare Cam! She doesn't know about what he is like, and we don't want her scared out of her fur when he meet....... Him!" Yama eyes turned angry, but still, she was a little guilty. Sirinia sensed this in her daughter, and went and licked her. She turned around, back towards the border, was jumped a little when she saw a dark black wolf staring at her. Again, she jumped. He really did have no eyes. Sirinia was frightened. He spoke, his voice very theatening, "Who are you and what are you doing here? You have no business here!" He growled and snarled. Sirinia gulped and then stepped forward, "Please, don't harm us. We are going into a terrible war and we are gathering others to help us. We NEED your help, Spirit!"

Hazayata and his group continued on, still in silence. Sonya knew she shouldn't have asked Hazayata about Sama. It had only made him upset. She trailed at the end of the group and suddenly stopped. The group stopped when they saw that Sonya was standing in one spot. Holly walked over to her, "What's wrong Sonya? Do you hear something?" Sonya slowly nodded, but suddenly she screamed, "Hide! Bear!" Hazayata took the group to hide under a fallen tree's roots. "Shhhhhhh,", Hazayata whispered. A big grizzly bear walked where the group had been standing. He smelled and air, roared loudly, and charged the group of wolves. They scattered, and Rhoscoe and Radulf bite down hard on his face and didn't let go. Sonya grabbed his spine, Hazayata bit his hind leg, and Holly grabbed his throat. The bear flailed his paws, and roared loudly when Rhoscoe bit out his left eye. Rhoscoe let go and jumped to the ground, and used extra power in his back legs to jump into a tree. The rest of them drew blood off the bear, and jumped off, except Holly. She bit his muzzle, and she bit hard. But suddenly, and bear opened his mouth, and bit down on Holly back paw. She yelped and Rhoscoe jumped to help her. He bit out the bear's other eye, and grabbed Holly's neck scruff. She let herself be carried, and the group carried her. When they found a den, they licked the blood off her paw. Holly groaned and yelped, and Rhoscoe came and licked her muzzle. "It's okay Holly. I am here with you. You're going to complete the mission with us, whatever it is. I won't let you go. If you go back, I will be right by your side." Holly licked him back and whispered, "Don't worry Rhoscoe. I'm not going to let a crushed paw hold be back. I will help all of you on our mission. I would not hesitate to die for our pack, and you." She kept licking him until she was tired.  Holly went to sleep, and when she woke up she found her paw was covered in herbs. Her paw was feeling a lot better and she got up. Hazayata came into the den and told her that they were going. She followed her father out of the den, and greeted her groupmates. Holly limped and walked with three paws. She looked at everyone, her brother, her father, her mate and her baby-sitter. She loved them all. But her paw was started to hurt again. She limped more, but kept on following her group.

Cyrus and Suki circled eachother, growling. Suki snarled, "Are you sure you want to fight me?" Cyrus grinned, "No, you're the one who challenged me. Not the other way around. Remember that, Suki." Suki snarled even harder, "Don't try to get smart with me Cyrus. I am better then you think I am." Suddenly, Suki jumped and landed on his bak grabbing his neck in her jaws. She threw him to the ground, and just before he landed, he grabbed her neck, and landed on his paws. She landed on her paws too, and Cyrus had her neck in his mouth. Very quickly, Cyrus flipped with Suki in his mouth, and Suki landed hard on the ground. Cyrus had won, and he had done it without drawing blood. He howled his triumph, and Ying and Melinda howled too. Suki got up, growling. Silverclaw stepped forward, and said, "You have beaten Suki. We will come with you Cyrus, and we will help you win the battle. Just let me call my son. Someone has to be in charge while we're away." Silverclaw wrinkled his brow and yelled as loud as he could, "TSUYU!" A minute later, a call answered, "I'M COMING FATHER!!" 5 minutes later, a handsome young wolf stepped from in the bushes. This must be Tsuyu, Cyrus thought. Tsuyu went to his father. "Leader, why have you called me?" Silverclaw told his son the story of Cyrus and his group, "So Tsuyu, you will be in charge while I'm away. If everything goes alright, you will be the rightful heir to the leadership." Tsuyu bowed his head, and Cyrus ran with his group. Team 2 was now Cyrus, Ying, Melinda, Silverclaw and Suki. The group howled with joy and ran on into the forest.

Sirinia didn't back down. She stood there as Spirit thought. He growled, "First, you must beat me. You won't be able to do it. It doesn't matter if you win or lose, in the end it will be my decision if I come with you or not!" Sirinia was scared. She shivered. But she sensed anger, and it wasn;t from Spirit. It was Yama. Yama stepped forward, "My mother is too scared to fight you, Spirit the Assasin. I will do it. I know how skillful you are, but I am not afraid. I am Yama, the warrior!" Spirit nodded and, as fast as lightning, he disappeared. Then, Yama yelped. There was a fresh slice down her shoulder. Spirit really was amazing, even without his eyes. Suddenly, he appeared on top of a rather tall rock, "Yama, little dog, are you sure you still want to fight me?" Yama snarled viciously at him, "Of course! It's just a little scratch! You think you can beat me? I will never back down to a challenge!!" Spirit nodded and was gone again. This time he slashed Yama back and forth, and soon her body was so sliced and slashed that clumps of her fur and blood were in piles on the ground. She collapsed, from blood loss. Suddenly, she lept up in the air, with Spirit in her jaws. Yama was gasping for air, but didn't let go, "Spirit...... you.......lose!" Yama threw him in the air and he landed with a thud.  Spirit got and and sensed Yama laying on the ground, blood pouring out of her. Spirit went over to Sirinia, "Your daughter is a true warrior.
