((Moki writes a short letter to his brother :))

                Dear Brother,

                I have to ask: Where are you now? It seems wherever I go, I can never find you. Are you hiding from me? Or, are you waiting? I just don’t know. But, I’ll keep looking.

I’m never going to write this letter, I mean how can I? I’ve only got paws, not fingers like humans…or hunters. So you’ll never see it, but that’s okay, I’m still going to look for you and ask you my questions.

We’ve been looking for a while and we still can’t find you.

Smith says to ‘Give up.’ But I don’t. He tells me, ‘You’re wasting your time.’ But I know I’m not.

‘I want to meet my brother!’ I tell him constantly. Yet, he still shakes his head and says, ‘Good luck, sport. I hope you find him.’ Me too.

I want to meet you brother. We were too young to ever really get to know each other.

I want to know you.

I’ve never had a family before, and I hate feeling so alone.

Do you have a family brother? Do you want one?

Well, I do. Will you be in my family brother?

Smith is really nice. He can be in our family. He can take care of us.

But only if you want to be in my family, brother.

                Oh! Guess what.

I have a new name brother! Smith gave it to me. He calls me Moki the Yorker.

I know, it’s an awesome name. He can give you a cool name too, brother. When we find you, I’m sure he’ll give you a name. Then you won’t have to be just Muki, you can be Muki the Yorker- or something like that.

Do you want a new name brother? Or do you already have one?

Did your new family give you one? I mean, if you have a new family.

                It’s just so confusing brother. I can’t tell if you want me to find you or not.

You’re not giving out any signs as to where you are. Don’t you want to be found?

Don’t you want to be my brother? My family?

Or do you already have a family? Do you not want me brother?

                Ugh. Why, am I thinking these things? You want to be my brother, don’t you?

I’m sure you do. But, even if you don’t, I’m still going to look for you…

…and find you.
