Part 3

         Dusty was bouncing up and down with her eyes closed. She was being carried by her scruff by Nuk the wolf and Yak and Sumac were with him. She had ran away because Ralph and Kirby said she might have wolf in her and Dusty didn't take this a joking. Balto, Jenna, and Kodi had come for her, but the wolves had fought them off. Balto had said that they weren't like this and Part of Aleu (his wolfdog daughter) pack. The wolves said she was the ememy, but no matter Dusty was scared. Were these her last hours or did they have something else planned. Dusty had a voice in her  head and is echoed. It said "Dusty! No!" Dusty didn't remember her mom carrying her, but she had no memeory of her past. Only that she had no parents and siblings and she had a name. Dusty's paws brushed againest the ground and her ears were down. "Our leader will be proud. " said Yak "I think we found something that of leader didn't know was here." said Sumac "What is your name?" asked Yak to Dusty "Dusty is my name."she replied weakly "Huh...alright Dusty." said Yak  To Dusty he didn't want to say anything, but had too.

        Meanwhile Kodi was getting to his white feet. "Uh..Dusty." he said Balto and Jenna were still on the ground breathing hard. Kodi walked sadly back towards his parents as they started to get back to brown and white paws. "They have kiddnapped Dusty." said Kodi "Oh no." said Jenna "Come on." said Kodi "Please calm down Kodi. I just don't get it. Nuk, Yak, and Sumac were in Aleu's pack and friends. How come they wanted Dusty and said Aleu was the ememy." said Balto "Balto Kodi, I think we better follow then. After they said Aleu because the enemy that mst mean Aleu is in trouble too. Nuk, Yak, and Sumac must be part of this." said Jenna "Come on mom and dad, We need to rescue Dusty and Aleu. Something bad is happening and i have a feeling that Dusty and Aleu's hours are slipping away." said Kodi  

        Dusty  was still in the fangs of the biggest wolf in the trio. She had dozed off, but still was bouncing up and down from Nuk's walking. "Looks like she fell asleep." Yak said looking at Dusty's face. Dusty's dream returned to her like a puppy's coming home. She saw the same wolf growling and the others. Once again Dusty was seeing the point of view that one of the little pups had seen. Dusty felt so strange. It was like it had really happened to her. Dusty's eye slitly opened. She was still in Nuk's white and smelling fangs. What had he been eating.

      Morning had finnally come but it was cloudy and dark, not the usal sunny day that Dusty mostly enjoyed. Dusty had been in Nuk's mouth for ages and knows her fur felt damp from his sticky spit. She looked up from ground to see that they had stopped in front of a huge sea. "We better cross now." said Sumac Dusty notice that Nuk had very said a word to that he wouldn't drop poor Dusty. The voice of Kodi still echoed in Dusty's brain. "Were are we going." she asked nervously Yak layed his eyes on her. "To the pack." he said Sumac walked up in front of the sea and howled. Dusty watched as magic happed in front of her purple eyes. Purple clear pieces of ice that really should have melted were coming together and forming a path. It was like a bridge was alacross the open sea. Nuk and the others walked on it. "Hurry Kodi." said Dusty to herself

       Kodi was running hard toward the sea. Balto and Jenna were having some trouble keeping up with their son. "I heard a noise..a howl. It must be Dusty." Kodi said As the three exited the woods they found the wolves and Dusty already heading over the frozen water blocks. Kodi's heart was racing and so was Dusty's. "Kodi!" Dusty cried happily Nuk, Yak, and Sumac turned there head. "Drop her Nuk." Jenna said in a stun mother tone. "Me and Sumac will hold them off. This path can only stay for so long." Yak said Nuk turned foward again and started running. Dusty wasn't enjoying this one bit. Kodi wasn't about to see Dusty dissapear forever. Yak jumped Jenna, but this time the red husky was ready for a wolf attack. Jenna dodged out of the way and Yak landed on his skinny legs, but was still fats. Balto was trying to get past Sumac. It kind of felt like the time he had rescued Aleu from Sumac pushing her into the ocean. Sumac had a mean grin on his face as Balto growled at the skinny wolf. Kodi wasn't about to give up this fight. He wasn't going for Sumac or Yak. Kodi had his eyes locked on Nuk who had Dusty. "put me down." said Dusty trying to push Nuk away, but he only bit down harder. Dusty had to escape. She had more life to live. jNuk." said Jenna jj

      Kodi was still running after Nuk to save Dusty. It was like Dusty was the princess who had been captured by a dragon and needs a knight in "furry" armor to save her. Dusty was helpless againest the wolf. If only she had taken Ralph and Kirby's wolf joke as a...well..a joke...not a insult. Dusty was all dog....wasn't she? Kodi's feet were feeling sore from the hard ice, but that wasn't the problem about to happen. There was a loud cracking noise. Nuk and Kodi both stopped along with Yak, Sumac, Balto, and Jenna. "Ah. The ice, it is breaking!" cried Sumac Yak and Sumac released their victons and started runnign to join with Nuk. Yak quickly slammed into Kodi knotting him down . The wolves leaped onto a piece of ice that was moving away from the others. Kodi got up to catch his breath after a wolf slammed into his stomach. The ice was too far apart now.

       Dusty was sick of all this. He tried once again to push Nuk away from her hoping his grib would loosen and he would finally drop her from his jaws. Kodi wasn't about to take "Goodbye Dusty" as answer from the wolves. He was going to rescue her. The ice piece that had Dusty, Nuk, Yak, and Sumac started to dissapear in the distance. "Come back you idiots!" said Kodi Dusty knew that he was talking to the wolves. Yak looked towards the trio, looksing at a dog, wolfdog and and a dog that had a little wolf in his. "Idiots huh..well can idiots do this." he said the them Yak closed his dark eyes and started whispearing to homself. Kodi and his Parents heard a noise. The ice they were one was going up, under it was the water. It was rising like a hill. Other pieces of ice were rising too. Balto, Jenna, and Kodi looked to find a even bigger water hill and it was coming for them. "Grabbed my tail." Balto said to his family. Jenna and Kodi did as they were told. Balto's tail hurt, but he was hoping this would keep them together. The water hill flew toward them and each one of them was swallowed by it.  

     "No!"" cried Dusty as she looked back at the pieces of ice that survied the fall. "Sorry Dusty, but us idiots have to do our jobs." said Sumac Dusty kicked Nuk's chest. Nuk's mouth released Dusty's scuff and she ran toward the end of ice looking out to see if her friends had survied the water hill. Yak jumped for her and pinned her down. "Oh no you don't ." he said Dusty felt Nuk once again dig his teeth into her scuff and her feet brushing againest the ice. Dusty's sad eye looked back at the edge of ice and say something. 

Dusty's eye were warming up again,hoping it was one of her friends. She saw brown fur crawling up toward the ice and then...oh it was only Sumac. "I don't see them." he said "Good. Now we have something to worry about." he said as his eye looked at Dusty's. "I guess your little friends can't help you now." Sumac said Yak laughed hard. Dusty was upset. She let her head hang in shame. Her friends were gone and she was captured. These were her last hours.

       Down in the water Balto, Kodi, and Jenna were being devouered by the icey coldness of the water. Balto's eye opened to see his son and mate agin. Maybe Dusty had escaped, but he was freezing. The same thing was happening to Kodi and his mom. Jenna tried to swim, but the water had taken every bone in her body and turning it into cold glassthat was about to break into thousands of pieces. Kodi's blood was freezong up. His heart was slowing and she could only think about Dusty. He wouldn't never rescue his princess from harm. Never see her again or see his family and friends. "Goodbye world." he said to himself as he closed his brownish-red eyes. Jenna and Balto did the same as everyone started to sink to the ocean floor, were their finally resting places wer. Jenna's bandana driffted of her neck, but she new it was all over.

     Minutes later Dusty felt Nuk walking again and she was bouncing up and down. They had come
