Clover looked up at Utah with tears in her eyes "It's not that I'm lonely, just really confused! I might be pregnant!" Clover said and cried into his fur.

"What?! What makes you say that?" saud Utah, looking concerned now. 

He was unaware of any relatioships that Clover was in, or any males. He inhaled deeply, and caught traces of Jason's scent, and something else. He hadn't noticed earlier, since Kit was giving birth and it had disguised those scents. He put two and two together, and he felt sickened and furious.

"He didn't-...that son of a-" he shook his head, feeling ready to explode "I'll murder him! I swear if I ever see him again, I'll....."

He took a deep breath to calm down, but it was extremely difficult. Wasn't Aiyanna's death enough? What did he want! He finally felt himself steady

"I am really sorry Clover. Don't you worry about a thing. Maybe you won't get pregnant. Not everyone does. And we'll get him. I swear it" he said

Clover nodded "thanks" she whispered and got closer to him, his fur smelt so good. 

Hopefully things would turn out better for her from now on.

Weeks pasted by and the puppies grew older and soon it would be time for them to be adopted. Kit was dreading for this moment to come, but she knew that she could'nt keep all of her children here, no matter how much she adored them. Besdies, Jade often got to see Clover, and she was certain that she would be able to see her own children from time to time. Several of their family members have come to see the children, including Karta and Jeremy-Kit's parents. Ruby and Maggie also came to see them often.

One afternoon, she had taken them out onto the beach, and the large litter played all sorts of games in the sand. Kit always found it enjoyble to see them wrestle and have fun, they were growing up so quickly. Utah was also playing with them, making sure that they did't get hurt or go out of control. He was often their favorite chew toy. He then caught sight of Jade and Clover making their way towards them, and barked a greeting.

"Hello!" she said, and noticed their expressions "whats wrong" she asked, her eyes darting from Jade to Clover.

Jade gave a small shake of his head and struggled to find the right words.

"You know how Clover has been feeling unwell lately?"

"Yes? I thought it was just a small bug. Why, is it worse?" she asked, and she started listing all of them different deseases prone to dogs

"I'm-" Clover began and inhaled deeply "I'm pregnant. It's Jason's Jason's"
