The has set over the Alaskan town of Nome. Hunter, the son of Balto and Jenna passionily sleeps in his home. But he is not alone. Resting up angainst his warm, solid chest is his mate for life. Willow. Ther e has naver been a day where Hunter did not want his mate at his side. Before he met her, there was an empty space in him. That space in him died when Balto and Jenna died. But thanks to Willow he is whole once more. Not to long after that, Willow brought three beautiful pups into this world. Icarus, Bella and Dominic. Hunter feels that his life is complete now. But he longs for the days when he was on many adventures with his family. After Kodi, Bella and Dominic came back from an adventure that took them to the future, Hunter belives that the adventure he wants to continue will start again.

And the they will....

Tonight

The raven flies over Hunter's house. At that moment a massive bright light consumes it. After the light fades away Hunter and Willow are both gone. Hunter wakes up and sees nothing. Nothing but white.

Hunter: What is this? Willow!

He hears a raven's cry and looks up. He sees the raven coming down to him.

Hunter: No way!

The raven comes to him and forms into Aniu.

Hunter: Aniu?

Aniu: It is me Hunter. You look well.

Hunter: Thank you.

Aniu: You are needed.

Hunter: Really? Finally!! I've been...

Aniu: I know. You have a disire for adventure. And I'm here to give that to you.

Hunter: So waht do I have to do?

Aniu: Willow will also be with you.

Hunter: What!? No. Not her.

Aniu: She has a disire for adventure herself.

Hunter: Really? I never knew that.

Aniu: There is a dark hearted human that has a creed for hunting. Where he plans to hunt next is where you must stop him. But you will have help.

Hunter: Who?

Aniu: All in good time.

Hunter: What about Willow?

Aniu: I have already been to her. You will wake up next to her and then your new adventure will begin.

Hunter: Thank you Aniu?

Aniu does not say another word. She howls and Hunter is consumed my the light once again.

In a open feild two dark figures are seen running all over the place. At the edge of the tall grass a fox named Tod jumps out. He was raised by a kind old woman for most of his life. But the day came where she had let Tod go. Behind Tod was his life long friend Copper. A hound dog.

Copper chases Tod until he is cornerd. When Copper finally get close to Tod, Tod starts to laugh.

Tod: Ok, ok you win.

Copper and Tod both laugh and walk through the forrest.

Tod: So how have you been?

Copper: Good.

Tod: How's Widow Tweed?

Copper: She's doing ok. But there somtimes where I'd see her crying. She misses you.

Tod: I miss her too. And hows, dare I ask, Chief and the hunter?

Copper sighs and slowly shakes his head back and forth.

Copper: Chief died.  

Tod: He's gone!?

Copper: Yeah.

Tod: I'm sorry I...

Copper: It had nothing to do with his leg. Age finally caught up with him.

Tod: I see. The hunter?

Copper: He's ok. He can't hunt this season cause of that huge bear.

Tod: Really? That sound good to me.

Copper: And dont worry. During hunting season, I'll make sure that he wont bother you or Vixey. By the way, how is she doing?

Tod: What do you mean?

Copper: A certian Big Mama told me that she was goanna have a baby.

Tod chuckles.

Tod: Yeah she is. It's almost time. Speaking of her, I'd better go check on her.

Copper: Yeah It's getting late. I dont want the hunter to get worried.

Tod: All right. Will you come back?

Copper: Maybe in a day or two.

Tod: Shake on it.

Copper: (Laughs) Sure.

They shake there whole bodies from top to bottom. When Tod stops, his whole tail fluffs up. They then go there seperate ways. Copper goes home and falls asleep in the barrel that he sleeps in. But unlike before there is only one barrel on the small hill he a Cheif would sleep on.

At the same time Tod arrives at the fox hole he lives with Vixey. The entrance is right near the small pond where they first fell in love. Tod slowly enters the hole. It's a bit bigger than and average fox hole. due to that there will be three foxes living there soon. Tod enters and Vixey sleeping on the ground. He take a moment to stair at her beauty and remeber the first time he saw her. When he first saw her, he thought there was never a reason to be sad again. This is only for second. Vixey wakes up, see Tod and smiles.

Tod: Hi.

Vixey: Hey.

Het tone was so relaxing to Tod.

Tod: How you feeling?

Vixey: Good. I can there life in me.

Tod: Good.

Vixey: So how's Copper?

Tod: He's fine. But....remmeber that dog that go pushed over the train track while he was chasing me?

Vixey: Oh the one that made Copper come after us?

Tod: Yeah?

Vixey: What about him?

Tod: He's dead.

Vixey: Really? How?

Tod: Copper said it was old age.

Vixey: (Sighs in releaf) That was close. I thought you your were goanna say he died cause of his leg wound. And Copper would never forgive you.

Tod: It's ok Vixey. All of that is behind us. Copper and I are friends again. And will always be firends. Forever.

Vixey smiles.

Tod: And that hunter wond come after us again eathier.

Vixey: Tod, there are more hunters other than Copper's owner, you know that?

Tod: I know.

Vixey: And hunting season starts in a few days.

Tod: All right give some time and I'll think of a way we can make through hunting season.

Vixey smiles at him.

Tod:And who knows? Big Mama once said (A very bad Big Mama voice) " Child, sometimes the awensers were looking for appear right in front of us."

Vixey rolls over laughing.

Tod: What?

Vixey: (Still laughing) That was the worst impersonation of Big Mama I've ever herd!

Tod and Vixey laugh for a little bit and finally stop.

Vixey: But you do have point. Our awnser to all this could be right out side the hole.

At that moment, a massive white light appears from out side the fox hole. Tod and Vixey bolt to the smallest corner in fear.

Vixey: Tod! What is that?

Tod: I don't know!

After a moment the light fades away and they hear some voices coming from outside.

Voice #1: Willow you ok?

Vocie #2: Hunter, is that you?

Voice # 1: You cant see me?

Voice: # 2: MY vison is a little blury but it's comeing back.

Silent for a momet.

Voice #2: Ok I got it.

Voice # 1: Good.

Voice: # 2: Wow. Hunter this place is beautiful.

Voice #1: Your right. I can see why Aniu whats us to save this place.

Vixey: They sound friendly.

Tod: Yeah they do. I;m goanna go check it out.

Vixey: Tod be careful.

Tod: I will.

Tod peeks out of the fox hole and sees Hunter and Willow. Hunter is looking the other way but Willow sees a red figure in the corner of her eye. She looks over and sees Tod's head. Tod snaps his haed back in out of Willow's sight.

Willow: Is someone there?

Hunter: Did you see something?

Willow: I though I saw a fox.

Hunter: COuld I be the fox Aniu was talking about?

Willow: I'll see. Hello!?

Tod pokes his head out of the hole.

Tod: (causious tone) Hi. Are you...hunting dogs?

Willow: No.

Tod: Then who are you? Are new to this part of the forest.

Willow: We were sent here to help you.

Tod walks out of the hole and standing front of Hunter and Willow.

Tod: Help me? With what?

Hunter: We were told that a dark hearted human was goanna bring death upon this forrest?

Tod: Slade?

Hunter: Who's Slade?

Tod: He's this hunter that used to try and kill me.

Willow: Used to?

Tod: My best friend Copper stoped him. Copper told me that Slade will never bother me again.

Hunter: So this Slade is not who we need to stop.

Tod: I'm sorry, I'm a little lost. Who told you to come a help me. And how did they know I needed help?

Hunter: It's really hard to explain.

Tod: Try me.

Hunter: Ok. Aniu the wolf godess of the north. My grandmother came to me in a dream and told me that a strong spirited fox needed to be saved from a dark hearted hunter. And she for this task she sent me Hunter and my mate Willow here.

Tod: (stuned face) Yeah...ok. So did you your bus stop on the way to the insane animal hospital?

Willow: Were serious!

Tod: I;m just kidding.

Hunter: Really? You beleive us?

Tod: I do. I mean that is the most insane thing I've ever herd. But with hunting season in a few days and Vixey about to have  here kids. My kids.

Hunter and Willow look at each other and Hunter whispers something in Willow's ear.

Hunter: (whispering to Willow) Looks like we know who we need to help.

Willow: (Whispering back) Aniu gave us a great reason to be here.

Hunter: So we never got your name.

Tod: Tod.

Willow: That's a nice name.

Tod: So are you goanna help me?

Hunter: Were not leaving until Vixey has given birth.

Tod smiles at them.

Tod: Hey Vixey come out here!

They all look to the fox hole and see Vixey come out. The reflects off her beautiful light red fur.

Vixey: Hello?

Tod: Vixey this is Hunter and Willlow.

Vixey: (nervousley) Hi.

Hunter: Hey.

Willow: You are so adorable. I can see why two are together.

Vixey laughs and rubs her nose along Tod's neck.

Vixey: So how are you goanna help us?

Willow: We are goanna make sure that no hunter is ever goanna hurt you.

At that moment they here a twig snap. They all look to there right and see the bushs move. Tod jumps in front of Vixey and gets in a defensive pose. The same with Hunter and Willow. They all look to the bushes and see a pair
