Most of these stroies have been about Balto the dog who saved Nome. And the adventures he has shared with his beautiful mate Jenna and his six pups that they rasied. But this story is about someone else. Someone who knew that the world he was in was not where he should be. His name is Kenie, Balto's brother. There is not much to tell about his past. He was brought into this world by Aniu. He ran off, nearly a few hours after he was born. The only thing he remebers from the night of his birth was that there wre four other pups at his side. 

When he was a week old he was picked up by a wolf pack. He looks almost as wolf as Balto so the wolf pack could not tell that he was half and half. They took Kenie in and rasied him as if he was there own. Time passed. And Kenie has started to wonder if this is where he belongs. His mind tells him that this wolf pack is his place to be. But deep in his heart he knows that he somewhere else is where he belongs. He stiil does not know the awnser to this.

Until now....

Kenie walks into his room in the cave where his wolf pack lives. He does not say a word to anyone. He lies down with his back turned from everyone.

Kenie (thinking to himself): This is getting out of hand. Were getting more violent when any wolf pack comes into the territory. We wont reason with them, we wont warn them, just mindless killing. I can't take it! I need to get the hell out of here. But I can't. If I even try Ace will slaughter me.

Ace is the second in command of the pack. He is a fear to all the wolves in Alaska. The very mention of his name, It sends a razersharp chill down you spine. And his strength and agility alone makes you fear him. Once he took out a whole hunting party of humans and dogs on own.

Kenie recounts the story on how Ace killed that hunting party:

It was the dead of night. Four humans and four dogs were seaching for a quiet place to camp for the night. However, they never found a camp. One of the humans saw a dark figure ahead of the group. They knew it was some kind of animal. They sent all four dogs after it; into the shaodws. The only thing that was herd of thess dogs was the sound of there dying squeals. They humans blind fired in front of them. Ace used the cover of darkness and his massive speed and charged at the first human. The human could barley see as Ace jumped on to him, pushed him on the ground and tore his throat open.  

He leaped for the next human's leg and almost bit it's foot off. He jumped for the third human and dug his claws into the human's chest. And the last one tried to run away but Ace jumped on it's back and bit the hunter on the shouler killing him. The human that he bit on the foot was still alive. Ace walked to the human bit him in the neck.  

Kenie (thinking to himself): I'm getting out of here. Tommorrow night I'll sneak out and not even look back. I just need to figure out where to go. Maybe a good nights rest will help me think.

Kenie falls asleep. The next thing he knows, he is in a white felid. He looks around in confusion.

Kenie: What is this place! This has got to be a dream.

He walks forward for a bit and sees a white figure ahead of him.

Kenie: Hey! What is this place!?

He gets closer to the figure and it turns around and it turns about to be a wolf. Kenie take a few steps back.

Kenie: Who the hell are you?

Wolf: I am Aniu.

Kenie: Aniu? I've heard about you.

Aniu: Theres more than you know. I'm your mother Kenie.

Kenie: Your my mother!?

Aniu: Think. Remember when you were born. Do you remember four pups leaning against a white wolf?

Kenie thinks as hard as he can. He takes a second and remembers the four pups with a white wolf on the night he was born.

Kenie: You are my mother! Did you like send me to this dream?

Aniu: No. You did. You needed to find a place to go. I know a place.

Kenie: Where?

Aniu: Head east to the town of Nome. There you will find what you have been searching for all your life.

Kenie: A place to belong? Why should I got to a place where humans can kill a wolf?

Aniu: Cause you are a half wolf.

Kenie: What!? I dont even look like a dog?

Aniu: None of your siblings do.

Kenie: One of my siblings live in Nome?

Aniu: Yes. His name is Balto. If you are seen with him amoung the people, you are seen as a hero.

Kenie: What are you talking about?

Aniu: Balto saved the town's children from being killed by a very serious illness. He is the hero of Nome and the humans will see that you are related.

Kenie: Are your sure? 

The area starts to snow and Aniu starts to fade away.

Aniu: Yes. Now wake up. Find the place where you truley belong. Good luck my son!

Kenie wakes up takeing some deep breaths. He looks around to see that he didnt wake up anyone. No one is awake. Kenie sneeks out the entrance of the cave and climbs to the mountain. Just as he gets to the bottom, he hears some foot steps. Kenie turns around and see Ace. A razor sharp chill runs down his spine. Kenie has never stood this close to Ace before.

Kenie: Ace.

Ace: Kenie right?

Kenie: Yes!

Ace: Where are you going?

Kenie: I was gonna go look for something to eat.

Ace: Intresting. I recall that we got a large amount of food last night. So you are not out here to look for food.

Kenie takes a deep sigh. He knows that if Ace knew he was leaving, he would be torn to shreds. Kenie knew there was one way out of this. He would have to lie.  

Kenie: Ok. I came out here to streach and I thought I saw a group of wolves lurking around. I though I would come and look.

Ace: Which way were they headed?

Kenie: This way follow me!

Ace jumps over Kenie and runs ahead of him. They get not to deep into the woods and Kenie sees Ace sniffing around.

Ace: I dont smelll any forgin scencis.

Ace turns around and sees Kenie's paws right in front to him. Kenie hits Ace in the head knocking him out.

Kenie: Boy I'm dead. I gotta get out of her!

Kenie dashs east, just like his mother told him to. Not till later that night Kenie found himself on the side of a river.

Kenie: I need some rest, its getting late.

Kenie falls asleep. Before he went to sleep, he thought to himself that his mother would come to him again. He was worng. He woke up in the morning and streach out. He walked over to the river and drank some water.

Kenie: Well better get going.

He starts to walk away and hears something behind him. He thinks it's a wolf and turns around to attack. But it's not a wolf that he's staring at. Kenie is staring down the barrel of a gun. The hunter looks at him for a second nd prepairs to pull the trigger. However, the hunter screams are runs away. But something flies out of his bag.

Kenie: What was that?

Kenie turns around and sees Aniu. Only she is three times the size she was when Kenie saw her in the dream.

Kenie: Mom!? How did you...? Is this your actual size!

Aniu chuckels she changes back to her normal size.

Aniu: No. I just had to scare the hunter away.

Keine: Thanks.

Aniu: Now head a little more east and you'll reach town by sunset.

Kenie: Got it.

He starts to walk away.

Aniu: One more thing my son.

Keine: What?

Aniu: See that thing the human dropped?

Kenie goes over to it and moves it around.

Kenie: A vest?

Aniu: Put it on.

Keine: What?

Aniu: Theres something in the pocket that you'll need later.

Kenie: Ok.

Kenie slips into the vest. It fits him perfectly. It has a indian design. There are some tassles dangling on the back of the vest and a few others on each shoulder. He feels something a little heavy.  

Kenie: This is comfratable. So what's in the pockets?

He tries to put his paw in the pocket where the item is but he cant fit hs paw in.

Keine: I'll handle that later. I better get going.

Kenie walks away from the river and doesn't look back. He is seen later walking through a large set of tree and is grumbleing to himself.

Keine: THis is crap! This forrest is endless!

Kenie takes a deep sigh. Just then he hears a twing snap. Kenie looks around and sees nothing.

Keine: Whos there?

Voice: Why are you hear? Do you want to hurt anyone in Nome? Wolf!?

Kenie:I'm looking for Nome. I need to get there. And I'm not a wolf!

Vocie: Then whats with the vest? Are part of a circus?

Kenie: I'M GONNA KICK YOUR ASS!

Vocie: So that's a no? Then if your not a wolf then why do you look like one?

Kenie: I'm a wolf dog. I'm looking for my brother. Now show yourself?

Vocie: Very well.

Keine looks and sees husky come out of the bushes. He has rusty red fur and cream white under side.

Husky: Can you forgive me? I have a problem when wolfs come near my home. I might share there blood but I get worried when they come around.

Kenie: Wait your a wolf dog too?

Husky: Looks like were the same specis. So whats you name?

Keine: Keine. Yours?

Husky: Kodi. I was practicing running and I saw you. So I thought you were up to no good.

Keine: That's ok. So your a runner?

Kodi: Yep! I'm part of the mail team.

Keine: That's a rewarding job. Why do you do it?

Kodi: Well after my dad saved Nome and he and my mom had pups; I was the slowest of my litter and my dad trained me and I became as fast as him.

Kenie: Your dad sound like a great.... wait did you say your dad saved Nome?

Kodi: Yeah.

Kenie: Who is your father?

Kodi: Balto.

Kenie: Woah this is unexpected!

Kodi: What is it?

Keine: I'm your uncle! I came here to look for Balto.

Kodi: I never knew my dad had a brother.

Kenie: Well here he is.

Kodi laughs.

Kodi: So what brings you here?

Kenie takes a few moments to tell Kodi everything.

Kodi: Aniu again, huh? This wont be the first time she came to us. Come with me and I'll take you to my dad.

Kenie: Lead the way Kodi!

Kodi leads Kenie out of the forrest and on to a cliff. Kenie looks over the cliff and sees
