Note: For those of you that don't know, I did not name Stark after Tony Stark (Iron Man). I named him after a completly. diffrent Stark.

Before we get to the main story I would like it if looked into the past of Balto and his son Stark. We go to Balto and Kodi walking home. They get close to Jenna's house and say there goodbyes.

Balto: I'll help you with running tommorow Kodi.

Kodi: Ok dad!

Kodi leaves and Balto walks back to the beach. Inside Jenna's house all the pups get into a basket. Jenna looks in and only sees five puppies.

Jenna: Where's Stark!?

Balto goes on to his boat and falls asleep. No more than 15 seconds later Balto is waken up. He hears a grunting nosie. Balto goes on to the bow of the boat and looks down and sees Stark. Stark is swinging his paws up aganist a pole. Balto walks up slowly to him.

Balto: Stark? What are you doing here it's late?

Stark: I came here to try and cut the pole in half.

Balto: Your little to young to have that kind of strength.

Stark: But I want to be strong like you.

Balto: Oh, I see what you mean.

Balto looks up at the sky.

Balto: I know what to do. Go home and get some rest and and sometime tommorrow I'll help you after I help Kodi. Sound good?

Stark: Ok.

Balto: Now run home and I'll see you later.

Stark runs home and Balto falls asleep.

The next Stark is watching Balto and Kodi running together. Balto is ahead of Kodi. Balto stops and tells Kodi that there done for the day. Kodi leaves and Stark comes down from the boat.

Balto: Ready son?

Stark: You bet!

Balto: Lets go.

They go into the forest near Nome and stop in front of if a tree.

Balto: Ok first, I want you to extend your claws.

Stark's claws come out as far as he can.

Balto: Now see that tree? Use as much strength as you can and tear off as many bark as you can.

Stark: Ok dad!

Stark goes over to the tree and tears off a small amount of bark. Balto looks at it and pats his son on the head.

Balto: Good job.

Stark: Now what?

Balto: TIme will pass and I want you too try and carve as much bark off this tree as you can.

Stark: Are sure.

Balto: Trust me.

As time passes Stark is adopted and carves off all the bark on the tree. One day Stark, who is now fully grown and very muscular is with Balto on the beach.

Stark: What is dad? I'm tierd as hell.

Balto: I have one more lesson for you.

Stark: What?

They look over to the pole that Stark was trying to cut when he was a pup.

Stark: You want me to cut that thing? No problem.

Balto: Hold on there. Come with me.

They go over to the pole and look at it.

Balto: I want you to cut this in half with one swing.

Stark: What? That's impossible!

Balto: Just trust me. I want to to close your eyes.

Stark does so.

Balto: Now empty yout mind.

Stark: Ok.

He says it quietly.

Balto: Now I want you to compress all of your energy into your paw. Take a deep beath and slice it.

Stark does this in less then a second the pole is cut in half.

Balto: Good job, Stark.

Stark: Thanks dad.

He nuzzels him and Stark walks away.

Preasent day. Not to long after Balto made his dream of flying come true. Balto is walking with Jenna and Kodi in Nome talking and laughing. They pass a large entrance that leads to an open alley. It's not a dark alley or anything like that. As Balto and the others pass they hear a loud crash coming from the alley.

Kodi: What was that?

Jenna: It's not good.

Balto: Wait here I'll go check it out.

Balto slowly walks down the alley and hears another crash. Balto hears the nosie coming from Stark's backyard.

Balto: Stark.

Balto gets closer and when he does a wolf comes smashing through the fence. The wolf gets back up. Balto looks at the wolf and sees Stark come out.

Wolf: Your lucky daddy's here.

Stark: Get away from me!

The wolf walks away but looks back to them.

Wolf: This isn't over Stark.

The wolf leaves and Kodi and Jenna come up.

Jenna: You ok Stark?

Kodi: Your pretty badly beaten.

Stark: I'm fine.

Balto: What was that all about?

Stark: Nothing.

Balto: Well it doesn't look like nothing.

Stark: It's my problem dad!

Jenna: Stark.

Stark: I'm goanna take a nap.

Stark leaves and Balto, Jenna and Kodi look at him and leave. Later that night Balto and Jenna are on the boat.

Balto: What do think that was all about?

Jenna: Not sure. We should try and help him.

Balto: He said it was his problem.

Jenna: Your his father and he needs your help.

Balto: Why?

Jenna: Did you see that look in his eyes and the tone he was talking in?

Balto: What about it?

Jenna: He looked like he was in dispair and he was scared as hell.

Balto: I should go help him.

Jenna: That what father's do.

Balto nuzzles her and jumps off the boat. Balto walks down the alley and sees that the fence has been fixed. But there is a hole in it big enough for a dog to go through. Balto goes through and sees Stark sleeping. Balto wakes up to him and nudges him. Stark wakes up.

Stark: What is it dad?

Balto: I wanna know whats going on.

Stark: Fine. Only if you don't tell mom. She'll freak out.

Balto: Promise.

Stark: That wolf is part of a very dangorus pack that want's me.

Balto: What? Why you?

Stark: Cause I'm your son.

Balto takes a deep breath.

Balto: How long have they been trying to get you?

Stark: About three months.The problem is that I get more angry every time they try to recruit me. I get more violent and feel that I'm become more wolf than dog.

Balto: This is a problem.

Stark: And the more I feel that I'm a wolf, I feel that I don't know who I am.

Balto: Your name is Stark. A wolf dog with a proud harritige. 

Stark: Thank's I needed that. 

Balto: So we need to figure out what to do about this. Who's the leader of the this pack?

Stark: To tell you the truth dad, he was right in front of your eyes this morning.

Balto: The wolf form this morning?

Stark: Yes.

Balto: Great. So lets think of a way we can settle this.

Balto and Stark say nothing for a few moments. Just in a second, Balto rasies his ears.

Balto: I got an Idea.

In a small set of trees the leader of the wolf pack who's name is Stone is approached by one of his wolfs with the wolf is Kodi.

Stone: Who are you?

Kodi: I'm here to talk to you about Stark my brother.

Stone: Brother huh? What about him?

Kodi: He will join your pack on one condition.

Stone: I'm listening.

Kodi: Beat him in a fight. If you win he goes with you, if he wins you never bother him again. 

Stone: Done. Meet me on the outskirt's of you pathetic town tommorow and there we will decied this. 

Kodi leaves. On the ouskirts of Nome Balto and Stark are standing alone. They slowly see the wolf pack come up to them. 

Balto: Ready son?

Stark: Yes. 

Stark walks ahead and he confronts Stone. 

Stone: You know the deal.

Stark: I'm a dog of my word.

Stark and Stone charge at each other. Stone tires to jump for Stark's throat but Starks slides under Stone and cut his stomach open. But the cut is shallow. Stone lands on the ground and charges at Stark who is getting up from the last attack. Stone gets on his back and Stark tries to shake him off. He does but Stone's claws tear off a huge part of Stark's skin on the side of his neck. Not to much blood come out but Stark looks at his would.

Stark: Man, I'll be defeated and have to join you basterds, at this rate. 

Stone looks at him and prepares to charge. 

Stark: (thinking) That's it. I forgot about that move. 

Stone charges at Stark. Stark closes his eyes and clears his mind. He takes his paw and swings it to his side. Stark hears nothing but Stone's footsteps come closer. Stone gets about three feet in front of Stark. Stark open's his eyes and make a huge diangle uppercut across Stone's chest nearly cutting him in half. Stone falls to the ground.

Stark: It's over.

He sees his dad and starts to walk towards him. But he hears a noise from behind him and turns around and sees Stone. Stone begins the limp towards Stark.

Stone: Do think I'll let you walk away from me!

Stark rushes up to him and pins Stone to the ground.

Stark: That's enough Stone. You lost this fight. And you said that you won't bother me any more. But if really want me in this pack, then I'll keep this agreement open and I'll fight you whenever you want. But let it go.

Stone shoves Stark off of him and leaps into the air.

Stone: STARK!!!!  

Just at that second, blood gushes out of Stone's huge cut. Alot of the blood gets on Stark. Stone falls to the ground dead. His pack sees Stark get up and coverd in blood. The pack reteats. Stark looks back to Balto. Not a word is said. Balto leaves and heads towards town. Stark goes to the beach washs the blood off in the water. He then walkshome in dispair. He passes Kodi who says nothing to him. Stark goes into his backyard and lies down and starts to cry. A few days later Sark returns to his normal, tired all the time, strong spirited self.
