Its 1933 Balto and Jenna have begun to get weak and slow there time is coming. Balto is walking slowly walking to Jenna's house. It's the middle of the day. He walks up her front porch and slides through the dog door. Balto looks and sees his mate lying on the floor. He likes her ear and that wakes her up.

Jenna: Balto hi.

Balto: Hi Jenna how are you feeling?

Jenna: Like I hade to race Kodi from hear to Nenanna.

Balto: That bad huh? Were both getting there?

Jenna: I just don’t want to go yet. Not without saying goodbye to our pups.

Balto: Then let’s go and do that.

Jenna: Ok.

They go out and start walking down the street. Jenna looks to Balto.

Jenna: I wish we could have seen Aleu one last time.

Balto: She is always with us.

Jenna: I know.

They walk in front of the bookstore were there daughter Sara works. They walk in and see her putting books on the shelves. Sara turns and sees them.

Sara: Dad, Mom? You two should be resting.

Balto: We know.

Jenna: But since we don't have a lot of time left we thought that we would see all of you before we go.

Sara: That's a good thing to do.

Balto: So how do you like working hear?

Sara: I love it. It's so cool about learning about the outside world.

Jenna: That’s a great thing to learn.

Balto: Were glad to have raised you Sara.

They nuzzle and start to leave.

Sara: Good bye.

Jenna cries and Balto sighs. They start to go out the door but they look back and see her one last time.

Jenna: Now who do we go to?

Balto: Let’s go to the one that lives closest from here.

They look at each other.

Both: Stark.

They walk down a large wide open alley and walk towards a fence with a hole in it big enough for a dog to pass through. They go into the backyard and they see there son Stark sleeping on the porch. He was always the lazy one but he always stayed very muscular and fit.  He is sleeping on his back with his belly pointed up, he is also snoring and his mouth us all the way open.

Jenna: How do we wake him up?

Balto: I know what to do.

Balto walks up to him and stands over him and raises his paw over Stark's mouth and shoves it down his throat. Stark wakes up gagging and gasping for air. 

Jenna: Why did you do that? 

Balto: That’s how I always got him up. 

Stark: Ok who ever did that is dead!

He angrily looks over and sees his parents and smiles at them. 

Stark: Oh mom, dad. Shouldn’t you be resting? It’s almost that time. 

Jenna: Well we thought that we would see our cute pups one last time. 

Stark: I'm glad that you decided to do that. I've had alot of fun time with you both.

Balto: Like what?

Stark: Like the time that when I went into the mountains to camp with dad I fell asleep in a cave while dad got food from caribou. And about a few minutes later the light got in and it showed what else was in there.

Jenna: What?

Balto: A whole family of bears.

Jenna: What!!?

Stark: It's ok mom I got away. I was running down the hill as fast as I could and dad saw me and he ran too.

Jenna: That's unbelievable.

Stark: It was fun.

They all laugh.

Jenna: I think we better go.

Balto: Yeah. Stark do you know where Hunter and Dingo are?

Stark: They are at work now at that saw mill where they move logs from the forest to there.

Jenna: Thanks.

Stark: You will always be with us.

They nuzzle him and leave the yard.

Near the sawmill Dingo and Hunter are pulling a log roughly five feet long. They are using ropes to pull it. Hunter stop and breaths heavily.

Dingo: Come on man you can do it!

Hunter gets back in order and they get the log to the sawmill. They get the ropes off of them and they start to walk away.

Hunter: Good job.

Dingo: Thanks.

He looks ahead.

Dingo: I don't believe it.

Hunter: What? Sara got a boyfriend?

He laughs and looks ahead and sees Balto and Jenna.

Hunter: Wow. Mom, Dad.

Balto: Hey guys.

Dingo: I can’t believe that you can walk this far.

Jenna: So are we.

Hunter: So what up?

Balto: Well we thought that we would our pups one last time.

Dingo: Well then you’re welcome to be here.

Hunter: So do you want to talk?

Balto: Sure. What about?

Dingo: Since your goanna be gone soon we can reflect on the fun times that we had. 

Jenna: Like all the pranks that you pulled on us. 

Balto: Oh yeah like the time Dingo dipped Sara's paws in red paint. 

Jenna: Yeah when she made her book deliveries and when she stepped in the snow it looked like she was bleeding. 

Hunter: And she screamed like a little girl. 

They all laughed. 

Balto: But a lot of them were just weird. 

Jenna: Or when Stark and I pretended to be dead and when Balto was looking at us we jumped up and he ran away screaming.

Balto: That was the fastest I ever ran in my life. Or when Hunter made Kodi, Stark, and I made us go into the old shed and made it look like it was haunted. And he took some scary masks and made Dusty, Dingo and Sara scare us.

Hunter: The was my one.

Jenna: Or when Dingo glued my paws to the floor of Rosie’s house.

Balto: Or when Kodi, Hunter and I put fake spiders in Stark's dish.

Dingo: Or when Hunter made that fake love letter from Dusty. Kodi almost killed me when I was talking to her about it.

Hunter: I didn't send you any letter.

Dingo drifted his eyes off.

Balto: Ok that was me.

Hunter: How did make that letter.

Balto: I asked Sara to use her claws and type it on a type writer at the bookstore.  

Dingo laughs.

Dingo: Ok that was a good one dad.

Balto: Thanks. I think that we better go.

Dingo: Good bye.

Hunter: You will always be with us.

Jenna: Yes we will.

They nuzzle there two sons and walk slowly away.

Balto: Now the family man of our pups.

Kodi is one the beach with his mate Dusty. They are racing and Dusty beats him by a paw.

Kodi: Dang you win again.

Dusty: Don’t be so hard on your self you are getting faster.

Kodi: Thanks.

They nuzzle each other. While they do Dusty sees Balto and Jenna coming down the beach.

Dusty: Uh Kodi we have guests.

Kodi turns around and sees his mom and dad.

Kodi: Mom, Dad. How are you feeling today?

Balto: Were using the last strength that we have left to see our pups.

Jenna: And you’re the last one for us to see.

Dusty: That’s a nice thing for you two to do.

Kodi: What do you want to do?

Jenna: We have been talking about all of the good times we had together.

Balto: And one thing that whole love letter thing. That was me and Sara.

Dusty: Told you I had nothing to do with it.

Kodi: I'm sorry. But I... That was you!?

Kodi laughs

Balto: Are you laughing because you forgive me?

Kodi: No because you can’t run fast any more.

Jenna and Dusty laugh.

Kodi: Hey remember the time that dad and I both have the same dream?

Dusty: Yeah Aniu saw that you two were having the same dream so she merged them together.

Jenna: What kind of dream was it?

Balto: Would you believe that me and Kodi were dressed like cowboys digging for gold in an open field.

Jenna and Dusty laugh.

Kodi: Yeah and we did find gold.

Balto: And to celebrate we did the hokey pokey.

They all laugh.

Balto: I think its time to go.

Jenna: Yeah it’s getting late.

They nuzzle Kodi and Dusty and leave. On the street they stop in an area they stop at a place that goes one way to the boat and the other way leads to Jenna's.

Jenna: I guess this is it.

Balto looks around.

Balto: Don't you know what place this is?

Jenna: What?

Balto: This is the place where we first met.

Jenna: You mean when our noses touched? It is!

Balto: I guess this is the last time we will see each other in this life.

They nuzzle and lick each others ears and go there separate ways. But after taking a few feet they look back.

Both: Good bye my love.

That night they are both sleeping and a every thing is quite. Balto and Jenna can hear there heart beat and they start to get slower. The heart beat get slower until they both stop. When they stop a large feeling of pain is felt in there children's hearts. This pain wakes them all up. In another place in an open field Aleu wakes up and looks at the sky.  Also at the moment that there hearts stop a raven fly’s over the boat and the house. Two days later the people of Nome carrying two coffins. At the front of the line of people are all of Balto and Jenna's pups (Except Aleu) the bodies are buried one the top of a hill over looking Nome. The clouds are dark. And after the bodies are buried and covered up everything is quiet. It starts to rain. Sara looks up. 

Sara: It's raining. 

Stark: The heavens are sad as well. 

Later that day it has stopped raining and the pups are one the bost and looking out to the sea. Hunter looks over and sees something amazing.

Hunter: Mom, Dad? 

Kodi: What? 

They go down on the sand and confront them. 

Sara: This is physically impossible!

Balto: Relax were spirit guides now. 

Jenna: Like your grandmother.

A raven passes over them and forms into Aniu. 

Aniu: Like me your parents and I will watch over you and you will become like us when you die. 

Jenna: You will watch over those who need, you weather there human or animal.

Dingo: That’s amazing!

Stark: Will see you like this again? 

Jenna: We will come when ever you want. 

Kodi: But what about Aleu?

Aniu: She knows.

Balto: But until then...

Balto, Jenna and Aniu howl and the pups howl as well.

It has been over 80 years since that has happen and to this day the people and dogs of Nome can still see the spirits that family that Balto had
