and Harrison points his gun.
Miles and Gordon come out from behind some trees.
Gordon: There you are let’s go.
Balto and Harrison join them and meet in a small set of trees. There are five other solders and dogs.
Miles: Where’s the closest anti?
Gordon: Over there.
They go near the edge of the tree line and see an anti aircraft gun.
Harrison: How do we take it out?
While they are talking Balto turns his attention to the other dogs.
Balto: So who are you guys?
Dog: Nate.
Dog: Jake.
Dog: Austin
Dog: Phil.
Dog: Adam
Balto: Nice to meet you guys.
Harrison: Balto. You ready?
Balto and the others get ready.
Harrison: You guys just charge ahead and take care of them well distract them. Go!
The troops open fire while Balto and the other dogs charge very fast with the cover darkness. One of the German troops is taken out and there are four others. They open fire at the tree line not seeing Balto and the other dogs. Balto and the others reach the sand bags and jump over them. Balto grabs one, Jake grabs the one on the gun, and the others get the rest of the troops. Balto inserts his claws deep into the German solder’s chest and tears it open. The others do the same. Harrison and the others get over there and clear the pit. They implant explosives and blow the gun up. They go west taking out what ever they can. In the process though all of the other dogs are killed and Balto is the only one left.
Harrison: This isn’t going well.
Gordon: There are more Germans than we thought.
Balto barks and the others look and see a bunch of Germans running in retreat.
Miles: Looks like the invasion is working.
Gordon: We better keep going.
Later they join up with a huge group of army men and chase a huge amount of Germans near a near bye farm. Balto kills several Germans by either tearing there chests open, ripping there throats open, or both. Balto looks over and sees one solder go in to a barn. He barks to Harrison and points to the barn.
Harrison: There’s something in there? Miles, Gordon come here!
They go in and search the barn. Balto hear foot steps come from behind him. He turns around and sees a German solder trying to attack him with a knife. He attacks to fast for Balto to react. Harrison is jumps in the way and is stabbed the solder is killed by Gordon. Balto goes over and looks over Harrison. He tries to lick him but he doesn’t get up.
Miles: It’s too late. He’s gone.
Gordon: Let’s get body out of hear. Our task is done here so is yours.
Balto helps them get Harrison’s body. Later Balto is on a plane and is alone with Harrison’s coffin. He goes over to it and looks at it.
Balto: Thank you.
We go back to the boat.
Stark: That was a sad story.
Dingo: Yeah but I liked it.
Aleu: So that’s were those things on your neck.
Balto: Yeah, that’s the story I went to his funeral and before he was buried I howled in respect. He was a human with a strong spirit and he saved me. Now it’s time to go.
Jenna comes on to the boat.
Jenna: Let’s go pups it’s getting late.
Balto: Hi, Jenna.
Hunter: Mom dad told us a story about him in the war!
Jenna: Did he?
Jenna: Good way to keep them entertained.
The pups leave and Jenna stays for a moment.
Jenna: That was a tragic part of your life. You loved that man.
Balto: He is in me now.
They nuzzle each other and Jenna leaves.
Balto: Thanks Harrison.
Balto then goes to sleep.

This story was good. Great idea adding Balto into the fights of WWII.
Although, it did seem you rushed through it as it kept switching to a
few sentence scenes. I dont mean to be technical, but I've studied WWII for years, and I gotta let it out. Normally if the Army hires any native dogs from Alaska, they would be sent to fight the Japanise who where invading the Alaskan islands in 1942-43. Or, they would be sent to Norway, Eastern European nations like Poland and Yugoslavia, and most commonly to the Soviet Union to fght within the Eastern Front as war supplies from allied nations. Although, there have been reports of Alaskan huskies/malamutes fighting in the American campaign from D-Day, the Battle of the Buldge (there were quite a few during this), to the final battle of Berlin. Although, they would never put a paratute on a dog and put him/her into an Airbourne squadren. Also putting dates will help to, like the scene when Blato jumped out of the plane, put June 5, 1944 before it. And the endin was the most rushed. It ends off Harrison dying, then instantly back in 1946. How did balto get home? He still had almost a year of literal Hell to go though into the bloody road to Berlin. But overall, quite origional ideas going there. ![]() |
