trawlers going off, not to mention the battle itself." he asked.
"We have no choice to let them know, but that could be our advantage." Paulie said.
Everyone, even the Enforcer consul (except Akiva who hardly ever talks to non-assassins) said at the same time: "HOW!?"
"We ALL where callers. Humans with most likely shoot us without them since it indicates we are owned by someone. And if the Deathlocks don't wear them, the humans will shoot them, plain and simple.” Paulie explained “Now, we have Gatling guns and rockets all around our side of the battle field. And before you guys say anything, yes we have brought these weapons and ammo. Meanwhile, some of our best sharpshooters, most likely Assassins, will be in the very front of the infantry. The will shoot until the Deathlocks get close enough for machine gun fire. Then they will shoot until their close enough for shotgun fire. After the first round of shotguns, the rest of our army will flank them coming in from all ends, most behind the shotguns, the rest coming out of the woods." Paulie said trying to make his plan clear, but I think he just confused the Nome consul even more.
"Um.... what? We lost you at the Gatling guns and rockets" Balto said
Doc cut in: "I got what they were saying, Jeremiah mentioned earlier that the Deathlocks out number the us by about 2000. Strategy is our final hope, and it's good. And besides... the Enforcers have been through these type battles before, right?" Doc notices the Enforcer officials look away in almost a worry type look, and Anastas fake coughed.
"...R - Right?" Doc said in almost worry.
Aislinn stepped in before Paulie or Jeremiah did: "Well... um, there hasn't been a canine battle this big for over 446 years, back in the year 1481 during Renaissance Italy in the city state‘s great civil war, When the Florentine, Venetian, Milanese, Roman, Umbrian, and Neapolitan armies fought in both Tuscan and Umbrian counties There hasn't been any canine battle that involved over 2000 dogs on each side since." Aislinn announced.
Anastas now cut in: "Either way, win or lose, the name of Nome, Alaska will be heard around the world and will forever be in the canine history books".
The Nome consul looked at each other in concern. "The biggest thing that happened to this town is the Diphtheria Epidemic, but never has their been a war. You guys must know what your doing? How long have you been at war with the Deathlocks?" Balto asked.
Akiva stood up and for the first time has ever said anything to a non-Enforcer/Assassin since they left New York: "My Creed has been fighting them, and so hasn't everyone else since 1885, the Enforcers have been fighting since their creation in 1919. They destroyed many Families, killed many people, and slaughtered many of my people. And many more things, that is despicable and they must be stopped for good".
All the Enforcer in the room, even the guards that heard him said at the same time: "Akiva!?!?"
Akiva sat back down hiding his face again behind his black hood.
"Well Mr. Malinn, we trust you in every way, this meeting is over... I will inform the rest of Nome for any volunteers to fight, I know Balto will." Doc said to close the meeting.
"Hell yeah, no one messes with my town!" Balto cried.
"Very well, I will inform my men to begin our preparations for the battle, they out-number us by 2000, we need all the strategy we can" Jeremiah said a him and his consul (of who's there) left to return to the camp, while Medic an Sarge who were their just kicking back there went back to Charlie 7 somewhere in Nome, most likely a local pub.
Chapter 23: The Devil on Earth
1: 23 PM or 13: 23
The Deathlocks have just left Nenana this morning and now heading to te small Alaskan town of Elim, then to White Mountain, and then Nome. Thanks to Steele's return, the Deathlocks now know the easiest and fast way to Nome. Meanwhile, the Black Wolf of Vadu has teleported about a 100 miles ahead of the main Deathlock army. He thought there may be wolf packs up ahead that could ambush the army again. Vadu is going to wipe them out... single handedly.
About 1/2 way to Elim from Nenana, a wolf pack was prospering. All the clan members were living happily until, a new lone wolf comes into their territory.
The Alpha-Male sees a black furred wolf coming down the narrow path to their den.
"HEY!!! HEY YOU, WHAT'YA DOING HERE, YOUR NOT WELCOME" he cried.
Vadu walked calmly up to him "I'm not here for trouble, I must have took the wrong turn about a mile back, there was a junction back there." Vadu lied.
"Well... if that's the truth, you may stay with us for the night and then take off in the morning" the Alpha-Male insisted.
Just then the wise Shaman of the pack saw Vadu and fear went into his very soul in the blink of an eye.
"That's no lone wolf... that's - that's... the bl..." the Shaman said until Vadu, vanished and then appeared right in front of him and struck his throat and killed him instantly.
The Alpha-Male attacked him and Vadu dodged and tackled him and looked into his eyes as his blood red eyes began to glow the same color of his evil eyes.
"Humans call me Satan... Felines call me Calaga... Canines call me Vadu... either way, your time is up…
Soon enough the Alpha-Male had been killed.
The rest of the pack scattered in every direction to get away.
"You may run from me... but what about this…"
Vadu placed his paw on a truck of a tree and that spot caught on fire soon the whole tree was alight. Vadu went across all edges of the forest and set a tree on fire. Soon enough the entire forest was on fire!
Vadu transported on top of an Alaskan mountain that over-looked the fire. Smoke filled the skies and the sky was now blood red with no sun to lighten it. The fire spread through miles. I wasn't put out until the next two days. And that's the same time the Deathlocks arrive to that area...
(())
The main Deathlock army has finally reached where Vadu burned the forest. Father Deathlock, took the first step onto the warm ashes of the wasteland. For miles was like this, no life. Achilles came up next to Father.
"Whoa... what happened here?" he said staring at the burned forest.
"Just clearing a path!" cried a voice in the distant.
Vadu stepped over a hill covered in the warm ashes.
Father Deathlock began to chuckle "Vadu... what did you do!"
"Cleared a path, there was a wolf pack in here, I had to take them out... through flames"
"So did you get them?" Achilles asked.
"Every single one, males, females, pups.... I killed them all, every last one of them."
Just then Sinad walked by with the rest of the army, without stopping said "Glad your on our side!"
So Father, where exactly are we going?" Achilles asked.
"To Elim, Steele has told us to go there first, then to White Mountain, and from there to Nome. Vadu has told Bravo 22 Delta to meet us at Elim and the will direct us to White Mountain."
"Are we staying at Elim?"
"No... we get some food and supplies, then we need and burn the town down. We go right to White Mountain." Carlos said as he walked along with his army through the wasteland.
Chapter 24: The Fall of Elim
2 days later...
3: 46 PM or 15: 46
The Deathlocks have marched through a blizzard yesterday to finally reach the small Alaskan town of Elim. Father Deathlock, Achilles, Xang, and Sinad went into the town with just the 4 for them and made there way to the dog mayor, each one had a 6-shot revolver pistol in there spiked callers. Little did the town know that these 4 travelers have an entire army watching the town, just behind the trees awaiting Father Deathlock or one of the other 3's signal to charge.
The dog mayor noticed the 4 travelers and walked over to greet them.
"Good afternoon gentleman, you look tired! We've got an......." he said until Deathlock pulled his gun out of his caller and shot him without hesitation. The mayor looked at the deadly leaders with blood dripping down from his shoulder and Deathlock shot him again and he instantly hit the ground.
At this point everyone is now scattering from fear, and now the Deathlock army stormed out of the forest against the buildings of the town an shot everyone in sight.
“Orders Sir?’ Xang asked from behind on his hind legs aiming at the fleeing dogs/people with his rifle.
“Anyone who runs, kill them, anyone who surrenders capture them, and anyone who wishes to join us, bring them to me. We’ll use the town for camp tonight. Then in the morning we’ll set for White Mountain. And Bravo 22 Delta should be here also, if you find them bring them to me.” he said reloading his revolver and feeling the wind of the passing dogs out of the woods.
“As you wish, Sir” Xang said as he returned to all fours and ran into a house right next to them that the door had already been kicked in by a few Deathlocks a few seconds ago.
Deathlock watched as his soldiers massacred the town of innocents, males, females, pups, even humans who tried to run away! Just then Deathlock heard a shriek from a female voice to his left on the sidewalk. He then saw one of troops pinning a young female husky to the ground looking like he was whispering in her ear.
“Come on” the Deathlock soldier whispered “You know you want it…” he said almost in a scary way watching the female begin to tear up.
Just then he sensed his rifle beside the scene lift up as if someone picked it up. Suddenly he felt a cold pipe again his head, then heard to clicks…
“Get off of her.” A low voice said above him.
The Deathlock soldier looked
