when Edward heard that he emidiatly arose from the black out and bolted to Bella. Edward froze, the noise was getting closer and closer, it was the sound of a nife. Edward dashed to the door that would lead to the next room where Bella would be. he stood on hi hind legs and rammed the door with his paws. the door burst open and Edward looked at his paws in confusion, then he said, 'cool!'

Edward dashed into the next room and their she was, Bella, only she didnt look like Bella anymore, she was covered in blood, from head to toe blood oozed out from her. she was dieing, and Edward knew it, but he wouldnt give up on her that easily. their was a hunter sitting next to her on a stool with a nife in his hand. he was using a round blade to sharpen it. that was the thing makeing the noise, the hunter sharpining his nife. Edward snarled at the man and bared his teeth. the hunter stood up immeaditly and waved the nife around in front of him. Edward lundged up at the man but the hunter stapped him in his leg, the man smiled as Edward fell. but Edward got back up and the man stood their in confusion.

Edward circled the man, running at top speed and lundged at him from behind. Edward bite his neck and sent him falling to his knees in pain. Edward then ran over to Bella and nuzzled her. he picked her up on his back and ran, he didnt know where to but he just ran, trying to get away from this mad house.

'almost there Bella, hold on.' Edward reasured

there, a window low enough to jump out of. Edward sped up ready to make the jump. he darted in the air when, BANG! another hunter, he was shot in his back leg now and fell to the ground. Bella slid off of him and Edward turned to face the hunter. he started to lundge at the man when it hit him again, and again, and again, BANG!
BANG!
BANG!
BANG!

Edward started to pant heavily and looked up at the man who was now smiling with glee. but Edward dove under his legs and bite his back. the man fell and Edward ran back over to Bella, picked her up and jumped threw the window. glass shaddered and wammed into Edward's skin.

when they reached the top and Edward knew they were free he smiled a victory smile and started out for his friend Balto's beached boat. they heard a siren and all the hunters rushed out in their jeeps and drove to Bella and Edward, Edward then sighed, 'oh come on! dont these guys ever give up?!?'

he bolted threw the woods trying to stay away from the jeeps.

the cars sped up as Edward bolted into town, the speedomitor was almost up to fifty mph by now, Edward didnt know how long he could endore this. he was panting, they left a trail of blood, the hunters were probley happy about that.

they were almost out of the thick brush to Balto's when the heard the sled team and Edward said, 'as if there wasnt enough going on!'

Steele the lead dog ran closer to Edward and Bella, Edward started to growl at him. Steele then pushed Bella off Edward's back and laughed as he and the team sped up leaving the wolves in the dust. Kodi looked back at Edward as he soon was surronded by the hunters, he saw Edward stand over Bella to protect her and Kodi stoped. the dogs skid and slide all over the ice. the musher then saw what Kodi was looking at and said, 'OK, OK, we'll go help them. come on.'

they rushed over to the wolves and mr. Smith, the musher, started talking to the hunters to destract them.

'come on wolves over here.' Kodi said

Edward picked up Bella on his back again and limped over to the sled. Steele then jumped in front of them and said, 'no way were not having some wolves ride with us!'

'but Steele their hurt!' Kodi said

'i dont care!' Steele said

'dont be mean Steele, when these wolves get better the'll come after you if you dont let them ride with us.' Dusty said

'so, i'm stronger them them.' Steele said

then Edward perked up and said, 'wanna bet?'

the sled team all said together besides Steele, 'go head Steele see if ya' can beat 'em. if you can they wont ride with us if you cant they will ride with us. deal?'

'fine!' Steele said

Edward brought Bella over to Kodi and stared at Kodi and then Kodi nodded. Edward then nuzzled Bella and trotted over to Steele stil oozing out blood, covered in broken glass and bullet wounds everywhere.

Edward snarled at Steele and Steele lundged at Edward. he missed and was sent flying to the ground, the sled team burst into laughter. Edward bolted to Steele and bite his leg. Steele yowled in pain. Steele turned around when edward was bitting him and bit his wounded paw. Edward yelped and stood up on his hind legs and rammed Steele, this impack sent him pushed back and gasping for air. then Edward was trying to be the bigger person by saying, 'OK i dont wan to kill you, cant you just give up and we can go to Nome.'

'NEVER!' Steele shouted

the sled team pulled out some bones they had to eat later and put them in a pile Kodi then said, 'all on the wolf.'

'same here' Dusty said

'me too' Kirby said

'everyone bets on wolf?' Kodi asked

the whole team nodded and looked at Edward who was now smileing, then they looked at Steele who was growling at them. when Steele was still looking away Edward rushed up to him and grabbed him by the scruff of his neck and pinned him to the hard, cold, icy ground. then Edward said, 'i win. now lets go.'

Steele frowned at him as Edward let him up and he walked over to Bella. he picked Bella up and walked onto the sled. he sat Bella down and he lied down next to her so the hunters wouldnt see them. he then heard mr. Smith run over to the sled, he looked at the wolves and smiled. 'Mush!'

the were off, speeding threw the snow headed to Balto's house. when they reached the boat the sled team stopped to let Edward and Bella off. Edward then said, 'thanks everyone.'

'no problem.' Dusty and Kodi said

'rematch wolf?' Steele said

'no thanks.'

'suit yourself.'

Edward picked up Bella and trotted over to his friend Balto. Balto was their with Boris just talking when Edward limped up the gang blank. Balto looked over and said, 'oh no! are you OK? what happened to you? whats wrong with Bella?'

but before Edward could answer any of those questions he colapsed and blacked out.

'what do we do Balto?' Boris asked

'um, the plain!'

'WHAT!?! you crazy i dont know how to fly a plain!'

'were not flying in it Boris. come on i'll show you.'

Balto and Boris ran to the back of the boat and when the came back Balto had a piece of the plains metal as a sled and rope tied to it. the sled the piolet made for him to carry him back to Nome. Balto slid Edward and Bella on the sled and headed out for Nome.

they ran up to the vets office and Balto started barking, the vet heard and walked outside, 'oh my, dont worry Balto i'll take care of your friends.' the vet said as he picked up the make-shift sled and put Edward and Bella on the table.

it seemed like hours and hours till the vet was done, first was Bella, she was close to death. then he healed Edward who wasnt that far off either.

when he was done he opened the door and let them run out, the wolves smiled at the vet to try and thank him, the vet must have understood because he said, 'your welcome.'

they bolted out on the porch where all the people of Nome and the dogs all stood. Jenna and Balto stood on the corner of the porch smiling at there wolf friends. then Edward faced Bella and said, 'Bella, i dont want to lose you again, i want to be yours forever, and i will always love you. so would you like to become my mate?'

the dogs all watched as Bella said, 'of course, i wouldnt ever think of being anyones elses.'

they smiled and nuzzle each other.
