The Dogs:       Trigger lay in the barn fast asleep. The rest of his team lay near by. A howl split throw the air like a bears claw tearing through flesh. "Trigger wake up please dude." Ticks voice shook. Trigger opened his eyes and sat up. He yawned then shook his head as if trying to shake away the sleep. The howl echoed again. "Get down" Kaydo barked slaming Trigger to the ground. He hit the ground with a thud. "I was just told get up make up your minds" Trigger muttered.         "Quiet dude theres a wolf right outside" Tick said. "So what" Trigger growled pushing Kaydo aside and sitting up. "Wolves are dangerous" Kaydo answered. "Right" Tick aggreed. A head looked into the door way. The three dogs fell quiet. The wolf entered the barn. It hadn't seen the dogs who sat stareing at it. It was a female from the smell of it. Trigger rememberd the smell. The first time he had ever raced he had met a shewolf. "You" He snarled lunging behind her so she could not escape. She swung her head around and stared at the young male. His fur bristeled as he snarled at her. She stood there frozen in fear. Trigger saw his chance he pounced pinning her. "Get off me" She snarled.         "Awsome Trigger you caught her" Kaydo barked as he and Tick trotted towards him. "Way to go dude" Tick yelped happliy. "Kaydo go wake up master or Alex or someone" Trigger barked. Kaydo nodded then turned and ran towards the house. "You have to get off me" She whimpered. "Shut up" Trigger snapped. "Yeah shut up" Tick barked. Soon barking filled the air. "Hurry up Kaydo" Trigger growled. Kaydo burst through the door "Master is comeing" Kaydo breathed. The master aka Alex's dad came through the door. He held a shoutgun in his hands.         He looked at the wolf and laughed. "Good boys" He said petting Trigger. Tick barked behind him. "You did good to Tick" He said picking up the tiny dog. Alex came in and stood behind his dad. "Look here son we got a wolf" his dad said. Alex looked at her then his dad. "Uh.......What are you going to do with it" Alex asked. "Well I'll take care of that" his dad assured him. Alex gulped as if he knew what that meant. "Here go to the house" he said handing Tick to Alex. "Tell Josh to get out here I'll show him how you live in the country" his dad said. Alex turned and headed to the house. Josh was his older brother he was here for spring break.         He put a leash on the wolf and walked her out to the field. He tied the leash to a tree and stood there awaiting Josh. Trigger trotted out with Kaydo at his heels. "Listen to me your brother sent me here my name is Alue" she barked. "My brother" Trigger said confused. She nodded. "No your a wolf I am a dog. Your Crazy!" Trigger growled. Fear flooded her face hearing these words. She turned to the woods and howled.                                                                                               The Wolves:        Lex sat quietly watching the pack. He was the handsome leader of the black river pack. Alues mate Jackson sat next to him. "Do you think she's okay" Jack asked. "She's fine" Lex snapped. Jack had asked him three times already. "LEX" Kodi Alue's brother barked rushing toward them. "Kodi" Lex barked jumping in front of him. "It's Alue we heard her howl she needs help" he barked. "WHAT" Jack said jumping to his feet. "You heard me stupid" Kodi snapped.          Jack looked at Lex in panic. "Go. get a scout team together. FIND HER!" Lex barked to the two wolves. Jack bounded out of the cave so fast Kodi had to relize were he was before he trotted after him. "Whats wrong" A soft voice said from behind. Lex spun around and saw his mate Allie. He smiled as she approched him. "Nothing Alue is in some kind of trouble" he said. She licked his face and sat beside him. "How are they" he wispered softly. "Hungry" she whimpered.           He sighed. Soft barks came from the back of the den. "Well you better go" He laughed. She smiled and returned to the pups. Most of them lay still. One coughed but nothing else. Except the two strongest pups Fang and Buck. The brothers snarled as the roll around on the cave floor. "Got ya" Buck growled pinning his brother. "How do you do that" Fang asked. "I am awsome" Buck answered. "Boys" Their mother snapped. "Sorry mom" Buck said as he and Fang joined the siblings to go to sleep.         A form approached the family. Allie looked up quickly. "Shasta" She said standing and licking the wolf. "Hello beautiful" He answered licking her back. He looked at the pups. "They are to far gone" she whispered. He nodded. "What about Fang and Buck" he asked. "Their fine" she answered. She touched her nose to his. "One day we'll be together" she whispered. "He still looking for his brother" he laughed. "Yes" she answered. A yawn filled the cave. Lex walked along towards his family. "You Can't stop looking you fool" She groweled to Shasta. Shasta smiled "Yes alpha" Shasta bowed the exited the cave.          Lex looked at his mate. "He said they wanted to stop looking for Trigger" She confirmed. He nodded then looked at his dieing pups. Tears filled his eyes. He looked away and stopped crying. Allie had lay dow next to Buck and Fang. Buck opened his eyes "Hey dad" he said sleeply wagging his tail. "Hey little man" Lex said licking his son's head. Buck yawned "Did you find uncle Trigger yet?"  He smiled then lay next to his mate. Buck stood and trotted over to his dad. He curled up next to him and was asleep.                                                                     The Dogs:        Josh walked along and looked at his father. He was wearing his pajamas and was still half asleep. "You always wanted to go hunting right" his dad asked. "Yeah when I was like ten" Josh answered. He was a ninteen year old rebel fresh out of school. His dad handed him a handgun. "What do I do with this" he asked confused. His dad stepped out of the way showing him the shewolf. "Who....how........It" was all he could say as he stared at the shewolf. Trigger came up next to him. "He" his father answered pointing to Trigger. Josh looked down then back to the wolf. "Well boy don't just stand there on the count of three we shoot." 

 

      She looked at Trigger her eyes pleading him to help her. Trigger looked away. "One....two...." Before he said three wolves burst out of the dark. They snarled as the attacked the humans. Kaydo screamed. "We have to help" Trigger snapped. He lunged forward slashing a wolf's throat. A red wolf jumped to the shewolf. "Kodi" she barked. He was joined by a Dark Brown male. "JACK" she barked happily. "We are going to get you out of here" the red wolf assured her. Trigger was to fast he pounced onto the red wolf. But the brown one tackled him. The red wolf began to chew on the leash. Josh raised the gun and fired. "FIRESTICK" one of the wolves shouted. They all raced off as master and Josh begain to fire the guns. One of the bullets hit Alue in the side. She colapsed to the ground. "Alue" Kodi barked. "Kodi Jack get out of here please" she whimpered.  Kodi stared at her as a shot grazed him across the shoulder. "Go" She whimpered. Jack lay down next to her. "I won't leave you" Jack barked. "Go please I love you" She whimpered. "Love you to" he muttered.

 

      He looked around and found Trigger. "Kodi help me get that...." Jack bit his lip to stop himself from curseing. Jack and Kodi attacked Trigger and Kaydo. Trigger and Kaydo tried to fight but were out numbered. They were knocked out and taken away. 

 

      Trigger opened his eyes and looked around. He saw Kaydo crouching on the ground with three wolves standing around him. Trigger stood up "Leave him alone" he growled. The wolves turned and laughed at the young dog's courage. "Come on Lex will know what to do with them" Jack growled.                                                         The Wolves:
