"She was runing in the snow after dark. Tasha was enjoying herself, then she saw a figure in the sky, as it got bigger she realized it was a dog."  

Tasha awoke from her dream, "what a dream." she said. Then she went on with her daily rutine, she stretched, then walked into the kitchen and nuged at her owners leg, "ready to eat girl," Jane said, then Tasha jumped and ran in circles barking. "Ok,ok, i'm hurrying," Jane said. Jane filled Tashas bowl with her dog food, as Tasha ate Jane was looking in the newspaper for a job, then she found one at the local general store. "Tasha, I found a job," Jane said, "All I have to do now is go and apply," Tasha barked happily.

Tasha then walked out the doggie door after Jane had got her green and black winter coat. Tasha walked over to Jennas to see if she wanted to go for a walk along the edge of town. As she got to Jennas house Balto was leveing, "Oh how i wish i could have a love like the one between you and Balto" Tasha said, "well, you'll find it someday"  Jenna said, "so, do you wanna take our daliy walk," Tasha said, Jenna replied "sure."

They walked most of the day talking about how their day went, then Jenna said," Balto was talking about this new....ah never mind" Tasha was puzzled. As she was walking with Jenna back to her house they said their usual "see ya tommorow."

It was getting dark when Tasha was walking back home, she was looking at the ground while she was walking and didnt see the dog running toward her, also not watching where he was going. "Bamm" they collided, they both were dizzy and then looked at each other at the same time and there noses touched. They sit there for about a minute, both their blue eyes looking deep into  the others blue eyes. "I...i'm sorry," said the male dog to Tasha. "I...its ok, I.... wasnt watching where i was going," they both get up and the male dog starts to walk off, but he cant take his eyes off of Tasha. He runs into a trash can and Tasha gigles, he then runs off thinking "who was she, that beautiful blue coat, and eyes to match. Why didnt i ask for her name, such and idio. I know, i'll ask her tommorow."

When Tasha got home she couldnt stop thinking of him. " So handsom,i think i might be in love with him, but i dont know if he likes me." She curled up in her bed and thought, " just like my dream." She wondered if she would ever see him again, and if she did, if she would have the courage to talk to him. As she yaned, she said to herself,"i'll ask Jenna tomorow." Then she drifted off to sleep.

"Tasha was in her house then the dog came in with a mouth full of violets and gave them to her, she knew that this was her dream mate, then he said, how nice to meet a fair lady as yourself, my name is Tohta."

Then Tasha awoke to find it was just a dream. "Will he ever come for me" she said, and fell back into a peacful sleep. Not knowing of what was to happen the next day.

Meanwhile on Balto's boat the dog said to Balto, " I just dont know what to do, i mean i think this is love at first sight, but how will a girl of such beauty, love me." Balto answers "dont worry Tohta your new to Nome, and if it is true love, shell like you any way, jus look at me and Jenna." "I know, but, i just want to belong, all my  life its been me, and only me. I dont even know if my parents are alive, and  if they are, why they left me. My life just seems like a big puzzle with a piece missing, any way, thanks for letting me stay here." Tohta said, "No problem." Balto replied.

As Tohta fell asleep, he wished that he would be able to talk to her tomorow, and that his life would make a little more since..

The next day Tasha awoke to find that Jane had already left for work, but had filled her bowl before she left. So Tasha ate and went over to Jennas. When she got there she told Jenna what happended the day before. "Oh, he's so handsome, and last night i drempt that he brought me violets." Then Jenna looked at Tasha, "dont look at me that way," Tasha said. "I'm sorry, its just that Balto told me the other day of  a new dog in town, that fits that description exactly," Jenna replied. Then Tasha and Jenna went for their walk and talked about the new dog.

"So did Balto mention his name?"

"No, but he did say that he was living with him."

Then Tasha ran towards Baltos boat, and turned to Jenna, "Watch out!!" Jenna yelled. Then "Bamm" right into the side of him. "Oh im sorry Balto," Tasha said, she was stoped in mid sentence to find that it was the new dog.

"We need to stop meeting like this," he chuckled,

"Oh, im sorry, i..., i didnt see you" she said shyly,

he took a deep breathe and said, "im Tohta," whew "im sorry but im new here and very nervous around girls" he said blushing,

"What did you say your name was," Tasha said quizically

"Tohta," he answered.

She thought to herself, " can this be real."  then she turned to Jenna and said, " I dreampt he told me his name was Tohta."

"M......my, name, is, Tasaha," she told him

"What a beautiful name," he said,

They sat their for the rest of the day talking to each other, then Tasha realized that it was getting dark, "i need to get home, my owner is probably home by now," Tasha said. "Well then, let me,......, walk you home," Tohta said shyly.

When they got to Tashas house Tohta said " good night," to Tasha as she went into her house.

That night they both drempt a lovers dream.
