(This is told from Devlin's point of veiw)


It all started when me and my siblings were first born there were about six of us i had a twin brother name Alec a sister named Delilah and a loving mother and well its hard to remeber the rest of my siblings because i was kicked out of my pack at a young age. When i was able to run and hunt small things like rabbits or quail my father got my brother together and heres what happened.

I was playing with some of my siblings when my mother Tansy had shown up. She smiled down at us but it looked so sad" Your father would like to speak to you and Alec please go see what he wants.." I had done as she said fallowing behind my brother but i could have sworn i saw tears running down her face but i didn't bother looking back incase i had been right.  My father was a powerful artic timber wolf by the name of Hunter he was a great leader but was known to be harsh and cruel. Hunter stared at us with such shameful eyes and spoke" My dear sons.. im afraid to say that we don't have enough room in this pack for you both.. so im making you both fight for your stay here." I stared at my father terrified" Why dad i-" I was cut off when my brother had tried going at me he wanted to stay in here but i didn't want to fight him. I couldn't fight i had felt some of the injuries and i could tell my brother felt bad for hurting me but he wanted to stay and i couldn't stop him as much as i wanted to this was the only way.

Sadly i had gotten injured and kicked out of my pack with Alec staring at me with the eyes of both sorrow and glee that he had got his fathers love. I felt hatred and sorrow as i kept walking on ward.  I could have sworn that the last words i heard from my brother was" Im sorry Dev.." But i didn't want to hear it he caught me off gaurd and attacked me his own little brother he didn't give me a chance to defend myself and part of me hated him for it but what could i do. I didn't know what was on the outside of the world ahead of me but all i knew is that it was better then getting beaten up all the time and pushed around.

I had walked for days getting little by little food untill i had come across i near by village. I was so hungry i really didn't care what i was going to do i needed food how else was i to survive it may have been rude of me to take it from a starving family but really what choice did i have. I had already started sneaking over to this women and a small child who were looking over a hot pot of boiling water with meat in it i think they called it beef stew not sure but it smelt good. I had smelt the meat and tried to go at it when they were looking little did i know i had someone watching me too.

Out of no where someone tackled me to the ground i was already weak as it was and didn't have the energy to fight back but i wouldn't let my opponint know it. I glared over at who ever had pushed me ready to teach im a lesson but to my surprise" Your a girl..?" There stood before me had to be one of the most beautiful wolves i had ever seen she just stood there snarling at me protecting her humans as she called them. She demaned to know why i entered her village and i told her my story not even realizing it when i was finnished she had the look of sympathy on her face and i knew she felt bad. I then heard her say" Wait here i'll be right back okay.." I saw her dissapear in a small hut and come back out with a both that still had some meat left on it. She tossed it at me and smiled alittle" Eat up.. you need it more then i do." I stared at her abit shocked no one had ever been so kind to me before i got up and barked at her" Wait.. whats your name i need to thank the girl that helped me but i can't if i don't know her name.." She looked over at me and smiled again" My names Kaliska.." I smiled at her" My names Devlin and i thank you for what you did.." She nodded at me and then dissapeared back into the hut.

I soon found a den near the huts where i laid down and slowly went to sleep although little did i  know i'd meet that girl again not that i wasn't happy that i hadn't met her to begin with.
