I think there were a couple verses like that in Proverbs, but one that comes to mind from I-forget-where is "Be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry." Not quite the same thing, as being slow to speak does not necessarily mean saying very little when you do speak. But it's fairly close.

haha its cool. sometimes its better not to say so much. i know there's a verse about the fool with a loose tongue
