Shade VS Blade

       Shade was playing in the river. It was a warm spring day. He had a light tan color of fur and black paws. When He gets older he will get werewolf markings, from his fathers side of the family. He was only 3 years old while his brother Blade was 6 wolf years old. His father was a werewolf and they don't have litters, they just have one or two at a time. Shade got up and walked up to his brother with a fish. "Look What I got big brother!" He said.

     "Pretty good for a pup like you. Now buzz off!" Blade said angrily. Blade was a very mean wolf Who looked allot like his brother Shade. He was only 6 years old but was still mean. He was also jealous of Shades ability. Shade has strange power, even for a werewolf. All of a sudden Shade ran off and Blade walked into the den.

     Shade was still walking in the forest, it was about dark when he decided to go home. He heard heavy footsteps behind him. He turned around but couldn't see anything so he ran home. When he got home he saw his mom and dad were pacing. " What's wrong?" He asked them.

     "Blade ran off." Said his mother and father at the same time. "We are really worried." Said Shades mother. All of a sudden there was a great BOOM! Shades mom dropped to the ground dead with blood on the stone floor. Then his dad jumped out of the den and killed a hunter hiding in the bushes. There was another BOOM! Shades dad ran and jumped at the other hunter. Shade saw blood on his dads side. There was another BOOM and shades dad dropped dead. Shade ran and hid as the hunter came and searched the den and watched as the hunter left.

     Nearly 11 years later he was sleeping in his den. He wasn't as alone as before, He met a pup his age named Whisper, they became so close their practicaly family. He woke up and looked around. Whisper was sleeping on the other end of the room.Shade got up and started to walk out. One word was running Through his head. "Blade." It ran through his head over and over. "Blade, Blade, Blade." Blade had blamed Shade for their parents death, Shade had later discovered that Blade had used his power to shapeshift into a human told the hunters to kill a family of wolves. Shade hated him ever since. Shade heard footsteps. "What do you want whisper?" He asked glumly because she hoped she wouldent wake.

     "Where are you going Shade?" She asked "If your going after Blade I'm coming with you."

     "If you wish. Just don't tell anyone OK." Shade said without looking at her. "We are leaving now, so come on. if your coming."

     "Yes!" She yelled, she never got to go with Shade before. She walked outside by Shade and looked around at the amazing scenery. "It's amazing, isn't it?" She said.

     "Yes i know, we need to leave now" Shade said and ran off. He wasn't overwhelmed this time, because he isn't alone anymore. He had whisper by his side, and best of all, He was going to finally kill Blade.

     They had been running for almost twenty-four hours. Shade still had tons of energy but He decided to rest and talk for a little bit, he needed to make a plan anyway. "Ok Whisper, when we find Blade I will fight him. You will hold off any of his friends." Shade looked down in deep thought. "If I die you run." Whisper tried to speak but Shade cut her off. "Whisper I'm not kidding. Just run if i die."

     "Ok" She said looking too the ground. All of a sudden a grey wolf walked out of a bush. Shade jumped up and growled. "State your name and business!" Shade yelled. " Hurry, or i will kill you!" Shade was edgey do too the suspence.

     The wolf stepped back in shock. "My name is Balto and i was just walking around, gosh. I was just walking around. Your a little jumpy, aren't you." Then a wolf came out of nowhere and attacked Balto. The new wolf was nearly pure black, he just had a grey mark on his forhead. He pinned Balto. "You must be Shade then. Well lets make this fast, I am Blaze.  Blade said you would be here soon and i am too hold you off of him. You only have till sunrise to catch up with him you know." Balto kicked the wolf off. Shade realized he needed the power of the moon to beat Blade, he needed to hurry, because by sunrise, it will be to late.

     Shade stepped forward. "There is one problem with your theory." He said. "I'm Shade." He said while he jumped over the Blaze. Balto attacked Blaze. "Run!" Balto said. "I'll take this mut down" Balto said as Shade looked back and nodded. "Thank you." Shade said, and then He ran off with whisper following.

     Shade and whisper had been running for another hour. They were nearly at the great waterfall, The border between Shades territory and Blades territory. All of a sudden a girl wolf came out of nowhere. She had red and orange fur. She pinned whisper down and looked at Shade. "Blade said he is ok with fighting you, not like you have time before sunrise,but you have to be alone. Oh and by the way, your gray friend is safe. Apparently he is a better fighter then the ideot Blaze. Anyway, Blade is waiting for you by the waterfall."

     Shade looked at Whisper, still pinned to the ground. "I wont leave without my sister." He said.

     Whisper kicked Blood off. "Shade go! I can take her!" Whisper attacked Blood. "Go!" She yelled. Shade nodded and ran off. Whisper was scared, she hadn't been in a fight for a long time, but she knew she had to do it.

    Shade had been running for another hour, he was nervous because now, he was alone again. when he got to the water fall Blade had been waiting for him. He was amazed at the size of Blade, he was huge and strong. His markings would chill your blood, and Shade could feel power emanating from him. " Hi, Brother." Blade said with a creepy  voice.

     Shade was lost for words, so he decided to attack. Shade ran and jummped, he slashed at Blade but Blade hit first  him and sent him flying. Shade got up and attacked Blade again. This time Shade faked Blade out and stabbed him in the side. They were fighting for almost an hour. They were both nearly out of energy, then the moon went down. Blade laughed "your out of time brother! now you will join our parants." Both of them ran at eachother, They jumped into the air at the same time, Each began seeing there lives passing before thier eyes they each slashed, each feeling thier blows hit home, and each feeling the the blood run from there wounds as they hit cold rock beneath them. Shade was laying on his side, a new cut accross his eye that would become a scar. He saw Blade stand up and walk away, and he saw whisper and Balto walk infront of him. Then everything went Black.

     He woke up the next day, hurting all over. He looked around, the den was empty. "I, I, lost....." He stood up and walked up on the hill. His eye burned from his scar, and he looked around. He yelled "BLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAADE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" He looked down.
