Two Worlds

I haven't drawn Balto fanart in so long. I decided for my first time in a while I'd draw my character Goldwyn (my version of Balto's dad) and his mate Aniu. I might write a fan fiction soon about them.

I feel like I've improved so much. I left the sketch layer because I thought it added charm. I also didn't bother to fix Goldwyn's collar XD

Yeah, I always imagined him to be a bulkier dog. Since he lived in Nome and was a top race dog (in my version at least) I thought it would make sense for him to have a healthier, bigger build like Steel. And the impression isn't weird at all, it's exactly what I was trying to get at.

I don't think I've ever seen Balto's dad drawn with such a Steel-ish build - and it's strange just how little that seems to matter.

I like the way you did this. The blank expressions really seem very personable (I know that sounds weird, but that's my impression).
