Karta and Jeremy
recieved a remark on one of my characters that they are all rather unfitting and unrelated to balto, I agree, however they are my personal characters and it is unfair to expect me not to use them as I want!
but, I did go out of my way to hunt down an old old image of my old character, Jeremy, and I also decided to draw his mate, Karta, for comparison.
Jeremy himself is not balto-related, but, because Karta is, it means their puppies are also. I have three of their puppies (Belle, Dos Mitades and Basil) as my own characters, I will get round to drawing them soon enough, I'll also make a character page for Jeremy
Karta belongs to CatLuvsZuko (she owns two of the puppies, Utah and Kit)

yes, I wanted to bring Jeremy, and his and Karta's puppies back to
life :] I understand that and trust me, I do use them outside BS  its just
I thought it unfair and rather far-fetched to not only insult my
character designs but also to not give me a chance to fully get into
the swing of things here again and produce some Balto-related stuff
and just wrongly judge me right away, I guess ignorance is everywhere
though shrugs |

My goodness gracious, I haven't seen these characters in ages! 8O Even
if Jeremy isn't quite Balto-related (though if Karta is and he's
Karta's mate, I guess he indirectly is), if I recall correctly, these
two come from a time on BaltoSource when a FANcharacter wasn't such a
far-fetched idea. Hmmmn. As far as the line about using your personal characters...for the record, it is 100% possible to use your characters without posting them on BaltoSource...or anywhere, really. You can use a character and just keep it to yourself. You don't have to, of course, but it's possible; I have some characters who have seen little to none of the internet, yet they're some of the characters I "use" the most. And therefore, no excuses. :/ |
