Sister and half sister
Jenna and Fox , AKA Juno. Jenna and Fox’s mother are the same, but Fox’s father is a wolf that their mother had an affair with.
fox’s father finds her as an adult and informs her of this. Here, Fox is telling her older sister what she was told, still processing this information and trying to understand.
Jenna promises to hold the secret to keep her sister safe.
I always wondered if maybe there was a reason or something that made Jenna compassionate to Balto despite being part wolf. It was a wonder the entire town hated him but she didn’t. I was thinking maybe Jenna’s half sister was also part wolf… and so it was a sensitive subject for her.
Fox later runs off to the wilds to live with her biological father and Canek, who becomes her mate.
