Kato, Wynter & Zäsar
2 boys and a girl to Balto and Jenna's second litter of 12.
Kato; became a sled dog that eventually raced along the Iditarod trail like his father. He became a very skilled swing dog, and settled down in Kaltag, Alaska.
Wynter; was adopted by a young boy named Dean who lived in Nome, Alaska. She stayed in Nome, despite the drama between her parents that had spread around town and had made it almost impossible for her to make friends or be social among the town dogs. She did however, end up making friends with a traveling sled dog named Kimbo. The two had a one night stand, leaving Wynter pregnant. Kimbo does not return until a year after this event, and the pups are born, but Wynter holds no grudges towards Kimbo.
Zäsar; among his 11 litter mates, is the only one who was born with a birth defect. Zäsar was born without his left back leg, which made him unwanted by all families and mushers. Rosey's parents did not want to have another dog in their house, but they seemed to have no choice with Zäsar. Reluctantly, Zäsar grew up with his mother his entire life. He was very close with her, and due to this, he was shunned by most town dogs because of the drama between his parents, and various rumors often spread around Nome saying that Zäsar lost his leg because Balto tried to steal Zäsar by grabbing him by the leg as a pup and ripping it off of him. Zäsar often gets very angry at those rumors, and fights them. He loves his father, even if he never got to know him. Zäsar wishes to run the Serum Run Trail like his father, but due to his handicap, he is restrained.
