fur texture WIP

this is a part of a bigger picture that Midnight Wolf drew out and I colored (again) and is neither done yet nor should be shown on this site (the rest of the picture that is). If you want to see it when its done just keep a look out on my DA page. I just wanted to post it here just to notify how much work I've been putting into this pic and how time consuming it takes to get all the fur texture. Although it was time consuming, it really wasn't that difficult. I basically just made my own brush for the fur texture, and it was kind of a pain making it too because I had to make all the different angles of which way the fur points n yea...hard to explain...but anyway, once you figure out how to make your own brush, the rest is easy. Also, notice that there is absolutely no line art whatsoever. That's what I'm going to try to do for the entire pic. That'll be a first! 0.o
