"really dad? is that a true story?" young Steele asked Kojak, his father.
"as true as i tand here today."Kojak answered. "that's why wolves are so horrible, never trust them. and wolf-dogs are worse. they're an insult to all dogs, they shouldn't be here and are just a waste of life. and Steele, there's one wolf-dog you should never trust."
"who's that dad?" Steele tilted his head in a curious way.
Kojak looked carefully at his son."his name is Balto. his parents were both a complete disgrace, if you see him, my son, show him who's boss..."
the young pup looked fondly at his father then glanced at his mother,Aurora, then back at his father. "i promise i will dad."

yeah those are my version of steele's parents. steele wasn't treated mean,just his father told him things that steele, being so young, didn't think about and didn't realise the things weren't right.
yes, Kojak knows about balto i'm writing a story about it now, but it's still a long way from done.

exactly XD and Steele's dad didn't like wolves because he's best
friend (Balto's dad) left their sled team to be with a wolf (who is
Balto's mother) |
