I should have guessed. although it is interesting to draw comparisons between different movies. I remember someone once referring to The Land Before Time as "Bambi with dinosaurs."

I'm not sure I agree with the Balto-to-Bambi comparison; Balto didn't seem quite as... well, quite as cowed as Bambi in the scene this seems to echo from the movie. Which is rather odd, now that I think of it, seeing as in the Bambi movies it was Bambi intervening on Faline's behalf, whereas Jenna backed Balto up, but that's still the way it seems to me (probably the "leave her alone... please?" bit).

Comparisons aside, I like this. I think I see some changes from your work in the past, though I'd be hard-pressed to identify them. Still, I like to see an artist develop.

Balto reminds me of Humphrey, Jenna reminds me of Kate,and Steele reminds me of one of the bears in Alpha and Omega.

You mentioned in a previous comment that this is when they were slightly younger...but personally, I don't think that they knew each other that well at a younger age. Jenna seemed to be rather indifferent to Balto until he helped Rosie get her hat back.

But I dunno, that's just me. The artwork's cute enough, and yay for Balto-related works! 8D
