TREEEEEEEE

TREEEEEEEE

Another ' I am bored' picture :DDD

ANNNNYWAY, now to proclaim the differences of these so over used unamed pups :D

Nakota - Typically at times the name Dakota is given to one of these guys... if you magically transform the name by one lettah you get a completely different name :D Nakota is a breed of horse as well as a group of Native americans. This guy has similar features to his mother, he has black ear tips and his muzzle is slim like hers and near his nose, part of his bridge is the same color as his fur. He has a darker red coat then her and he has a darker under coat then his fathers. He also has blue eyes that is typical of the balto family. :B

Miyax- She would normally be the typical Saba character, but me wanting to 'try ' to be a bit different went another route. Her name is from a book called " Julie of the Wolves' where the original name of Julie is Miyax. I gave her a lighter coat then her mothers as well as a lighter, greyish under coat. Her eyes are a lighter gold color and where white would be she has a light yellow. Her nose is a mix of dark brown and pink since it is typical to see that coloration in dogs.

Aleu- Not much different from the original save for the fact that in mine i make her always ask ' Who am I ' XD

Dingo- Aye i decided why not? Since the name was given in the movie why not wing it? Now the difference. His coat is the one that is most similar to jenna's but his undercoat has a much more yellow tone to it.His nose is also a dark pink. His left eye has two colors, the top being blue and the bottom being the same color as balto's, his right eye though has the opposite where the top is balto's color and the bottom is blue. He doesn't have jenna's ear markings.

Kinley- Though she is mistaken for a guy all the time due to the fluff on her chin as well as her attitude she is 100% female. Kinely gets her name from Mount McKinely in Alaska. It is not really known where Kinley gets her markings from, the only resemblance that she has marking wise is right below her eye it is the same as balto's. Next to Nakota she has the darkest coat and she is the only pup that has their mother's exact eye color as well as her exact under coat. She also has a light yellow color in her eyes, though it's more yellow then Miyax's.

Kodi - This one is an interesting psycho cookie. Psycho being a big term with him. My version of kodi will do anything to become lead dog. Now originally yes he was the cute lil puppy, but then after finally growing up and not wanting to be teased any more by his team mates about his determination, he's taken it over board. WEakness is not an option in his eyes, and it's dog it dog or dog kill dog per say as his style. For differences, unlike the original he has a lighter, duller coat as well as a not so pink-ish under coat. His eyes are a darker mud brown and the black tips of his ears are more visually seen. Also i made his cheek fur a bit more like Jenna's

And that is my description of my balto sparkle pups 8D

.... my boredom still continues D:

O' Cap'n My Cap'n!
Spirit - well, while I agree with you on Kodi, remember that Sweet has made clear that these are her interpretations, not a drawing of the official characters in a canon sense. I don't happen to like when people "ship" or otherwise alter Kodi or the other pups either (or the other characters for that matter). But I am slightly willing to give Sweet a minor pass on this one. Albeit quite minor.

By the way, Sweet - Dingo was not the red Aleu clone. It's been pretty firmly established by myself, Juuchan17 and others. Dingo was the dark red Jenna clone...the one who spoke first after Aleu in the whelping box scene (when the puppies are being offered "free to good homes", as also noted in the credits of Balto 2 (as characters are often listed in order that they appear and/or speak lines, or in alphabetical order--in the case of this movie, it just so happens that all three parameters apply to the puppies: they speak in alphabetical order and appear in that order--Aleu, Dingo and then Saba; also given the fact that he's the first one selected by a human and Jenna refers to him by name when talking to Balto). Neither the red Aleu clone nor, as we all know, the red-faced pup have official names.

And incidentally? The "controversy" over the white wolf from the first movie, and then Aniu, is purely in the minds of fans who love to pick nits to death. There is no such controversy among the staff at Universal Studios, nor with Steven Spielberg or his compan(ies), nor the actors and actresses. And fan controversy, frankly, is irrelevant. What the studios choose to establish overrides all of that, no matter how any fan feels about it. It's official. And Phil Weinstein made it official...by producing a sequel where he concluded that the white wolf and Aniu are one and the same, he set it in stone. No fan bickering about that will change diddly.

Not looking for an argument. Just sayin'.

all the characters are ok except one... Kodi. you have destroyed him, murdered his image. you made him look like a retarded fool! if you want to screw up your own characters go ahead, but leave kodi and all the others alone. I would have no problem if you drew him right but you had to go overboard and make him look like that! i can see your not a fan of kodi because he was the only one you screwed up. Please just leave them alone if you cant draw them right.

Follow what I say? Which particular part are you referring to? "Follow what you say" is kind of an obscure sentence.

Then please do follow what you say ^^

Long story short, whatever the matter may be about their art and/or its use, unless you can do something about it, it really doesn't make sense to say "Well at least this isn't as bad as yadda yadda yadda." Know what I'm saying?

Interesting indeed . O:

Well, I'm not one to comment on them, particularly in this matter. I try (albeit with limited success) to make sure that when I'm talking to a person, it has something to do with that person. Unless I'm getting their thoughts on an idea of mine, which is neither here nor there in this case.

If anything is in abuse of ' artistic liscene' it's Renders and the many linearts that people put on here by Kay Fedewa and Raven Mortica. In my opinon of course.

And Restraint? What restraint? XD It takes alot to set me off, talking about a picture isn't one of em.

I suppose you have a point there. It still seems like an abuse of artistic license to me.

For what it's worth, I appreciate what restraint you have shown.
