I don't think it's a fail.

I think if you redrew it, with the harness around her stomach and then a small part of it around her neck, that would be it.

I think this came out good. The way her body is posed matches the way her body would be pulled up and her fur looks like she is in the air floating down. The only thing you "failed" on was the placement of the harness, it looks to me. :3
