Mighty- Thank you and thanks for all the references! I really need to
get the hang of the anatomy of huskies in general. I just wanted to be
able to draw something in 1 hour and be done with it, you know? I
guess it explains the sloppiness of the piece and no consideration to
the anatomy on my part. I'm hoping to have a more realistic drawing up
in a few days, one that I've been working on for at least a couple
hours now, I hope you'll check it out when it's done. :3 |

The thought of Kodi encountering a dog who doesn't get the appeal of
racing... I don't even know where to begin. For each of them, it
would probably be right up there with meeting an extraterrestrial. |

Nice work! You have a nice and potential style. But if I could make a suggestion to help you improve your work, their heads are a bit too tall, and the backs of their necks seem a bit thin. Their ears (which should be further down on the head) could stand to be bigger as well. http://www.deviantart.com/brow [...] rt/?order=9&q=siberian+huskies http://www.deviantart.com/art/Siberian-Husky-Pose-6-352298559 http://www.deviantart.com/art/Myah-s-So-Impressive-281198049 http://www.deviantart.com/art/Myah-273933430 |
With time and practice, you'll get a hang of anatomy. Heck, even I have room for improvement.
The lines are a bit jagged, but I don't think it takes away from this drawing at all (even though this was a quick doodle). Tablets do help, but I know not everyone can just go out and buy one.
And I would be glad to take a look at your drawing when you upload it here.
