Glacier & Valor
2 girls of the 12 pup fanlitter that Jenna & Balto had as their 2nd litter in my family tree. Without further ado, a short summary of their stories.
Glacier; was adopted into a mining supplies sled team. She wasn't very happy with sledding, and while in the town of Fairbanks, met a young human girl named Emily who she fell in love with. Emily became attached to Glacier as well, and Glacier's musher noted that the two had a special bond. The musher was reminded of his now grown daughter by Emily, and gave Glacier to her to make both Emily and Glacier happy. Glacier from then on lived in Fairbanks with Emily.
Valor; forever her sister's (Virtue) partner in crime. Ever since she was born, she and Virtue were the best of friends. Together they were sold to the military at a young age and moved south of Fairbanks, Alaska to Fort Greely. She and Virtue became military dogs, and wear military tags around their necks and have a bond stronger than any others on the base.
