My initial reaction is that this is a very well-done rendering of the classic legend; the only thing I can think of that might improve it is a little more sense of conflict; everything else is, as far as I can see, perfect.

My second thought is that the notion of one wolf inside him, let alone two (and one of them so similar to Balto's mother, at that!) would infuriate Steele to no end. I'm trying not to enjoy that, but I'm not doing very well.
