The title is a cleverly added ending to my infamous phrase "And so it begins," which I title every first. Look back at my first drawing here, I'm sure that's what it's titled.
And just like everything begins, so should it end.
That's right, my time on the Sources is ending. I have been a member for years, and have seen the best years of AnimationSource, as well as the worst. I have bravely ventured to purify them, but it seems that my goal has been met by others more qualified. I have crafted friendships, but most of them have wisely moved on before me. I have shared and have been shared with, and it has been wonderful.
I am 18 years old now, almost 19, and it was time that I became an adult. This Source will always be precious to me, I have proven that time and time again, but it is time to move on, and grow up.
I thank the friends I have made here. I thank those who have critiqued me and taught me. I thank those that cared about my work, and cheered me on. I thank those that I have hurt, who chosen to have risen above.
I thank the Sources. I thank BaltoSource, and I find it appropriate to end how I began. With purity.
This, unlike my first drawing, was not drawn because I wanted to be a part of the fansite. Unlike my first it does not depict the star of the movie in his prime. And, unlike my first, it was not a first. No, instead it was drawn because I wanted to be a part of the movie. Instead, is depicts the character that has come to mean the most to me, beyond her death. Instead, it is a junction, a crossroads, a single pebble in the road that has been my journey on this site, in this movie, and in my gifts.
And just as it ends...
...it begins.
