But seriously, not every freakn' character on this site needs to have a mate the second it's created. And I can just about bet you that person never makes one mate, and if they do the character is probably awful. This person is probably just looking for an opportunity to become popular.

There's been a few more people like that too...but not just with making mates XD Yes, Goodness knows what will happen next. I think there's about a thousand characters that have had pups (maybe more)

I remember that day too. Rather painfully. Thankfully, the person I believe you are talking about here has ended up with a hefty ban, because she simply was not listening when several people warned her to stop, and suggested she pursue less-annoying activities while on AS. As typical of a noob, she totally ignored several such warnings...over the course of weeks actually.

As I see it, the perfect solution. Of course, she's only one of a slew of morons who do this kind of stuff.

Oh gosh... I'm not even going to get started on that. You're perfectly right, Natti. Not every character needs a mate. You find people asking ALL the time. Singie is right too, everybody does seem to think that every single character has to have a mate and has to have children!

I agree with Aiyana, I prefer to do it myself too.

Natti :: ugh. I hate it when people make exact copies of their parents. It's just so unoriginal and boring. I agree with you about the whole design thing, people just want more and more characters and designs. It's really awful when you see, like, four or five new characters a DAY. I guess two or three would be understandable, since this is one of the popular animation sources.
Personally i favor characters with personality and originality, over designs. I think the design of the character should just be like the finishing coat of the character, just the outside of the char - not the stuffing. (like a stuffed chicken xD) It's the inside that counts.

I saw that, except when I saw it ALL the comments were "can I make a mate" not just a few like in the image.

@Singapaw--I know, and it's not the first time I've seen it happen, either. >P And agreed about the puppies thing--that's another piece of the problem...in fact, I think it may be worse, as it gives them a chance to make SEVERAL new designs at once, almost all of which are EXTREMELY underdeveloped as characters (and many don't exactly sport great designs, but rather random mix-matches of their parents. ._.). It feels a little odd for me to complain about this, as I love making offspring characters (though generally for already-established couples, not mates made up on the fly), but at least I can write a solid two paragraphs on the personality alone of each!

@Brantley--Agreed. I don't have any characters with AnimationSource pages at the moment, and that's one of the reasons why. If I DO ever post one, though, I can guarantee you that I won't be accepting any mate or crush requests. : P

I think i have only seen one fixed dog character on this site.
