I suppose it doesn't automatically look that way at first glance because the paw itself isn't long enough. But I'll get it right next time. XP

in the comments. Well, the reason it looks "strange" is because one of balto's front legs are lifted slightly, letting his paw dangle down.
That's the reason that the leg looks so called "strange"

Hmm...you know, whether you realize it or not, your background represents the tundra outside of Nome fairly well. Even though it's blurred and indistinct (and wispy), but for those few stalks of wild plant life, the rolling ground and total lack of trees is spot-on. I know this for a fact...I've actually been out hiking that tundra myself. And I see nothing wrong with the legs on Balto (referring to something Imalou said earlier in comment)...much less Balto himself (but for the fact that he's rather on the emaciated side...).

Strange leg...

Very impressive artwork. I like the way you used the sunset in the background and the way you were able to draw Balto. The colours are also very good. That and the sunset makes for a good picture, just like a good photograph. You are a very skilled artist. Keep up the good work.
