Humanized Balto Sketches

More Human!Balto (and a little Jenna) sketches! I used the screenshots as reference for his expressions, and also came up with a "human name" for him. I figure he'd be half Icelandic (Pop's side) and half Inuit (Mom's side), hence the East European spelling of "Benedict."

Jake Razor: Thanks! Not to mention the fact that America wasn't exactly best buds with the USSR at the time, so growing up half East European would be another social ding. XP I wanted to capture the various aspects of his personality, so most of the credit goes to the screenshots I used as ref.

I like coming back to this concept from time to time, but most of my creative efforts are focused on my webcomic as of now.

Benedict. Yeah, I'm sure a guy in his social standing would catch extra grief growing up with a name like that. Again, very nice handling of his personality. It would have been easy to get caught up in the struggles he faced, but you really bring out his resolve and optimism, especially in the top row.

It's good to see you're still at it.
