Yeah, I've always felt like that mark was a screw up in his character design, so I leave it out when I draw Kodi.

"kodi" looks like dingo because he doesn't have that marking on his snout

And yet the best couples are those who start as friends.

In any case, I like it. Playful without being flirty, I see it as conveying just a carefree friendship. Which, really, is the best approach regardless of the destination.
