Depressing pic numero dos. Actually this came out of an old fanfic that is no longer on the site (and one I might not rewrite).

Not only that but I think this is my best pic to date and the only pic I've ever attempted to try shading (which is a pain D:, but it came out so nicely that I just don't care)

There would be blood but the site wouldn't accept it that way so...

Basically Dakota returns to Nome and try and reconcile with her family, to Kilik's insistence. She finds her father alone and depressed on his boat. Recently Jenna had passed away due to cancer and Balto hasn't really recovered from the ordeal but he is more than glad to see his daughter for whom he had no contact with for years.

So they go off into the woods and reconcile and then a bear attacks them. Balto is severely wounded while Dakota is also wounded but is still able to function properly. She carries him home with the intent of saving him...

... well take a guess at what happens after that.
