Rosie's All Grown Up

Rosie's All Grown Up

So, I was wondering what Rosie would look like as an adult and decided to whip up this. I'm guessing she's around ten in the first movie, so she'd be about twenty-four in 1939, which is where I started my research with for her clothes. Found some great material on Pinterest for 1930s clothes and mixed and matched some styles for the end product.

O' Cap'n My Cap'n!
This is all kinds of awesome! And the clothing and hairstyle, I think, fit pretty well into the time period in which Rosy would have grown up (at least to her early twenties)...roughly the beginning of the 1940s. If we presume that, in 1925, she was approximately seven years of age, that is.

She definitely takes after her mom. Nicely done.

Phalynx: Thanks! I was going for that kind of feel.

The Batman: Thank you!

Annita89: Thanks! I think so too--it actually looks like people put some effort into designing them!

She looks good! Like one of those women you see on posters and ads back in those days.

Thank you! I like older fashions anyways, and drawing them is a lot more fun to me than drawing modern clothes.

Looks great! Good job on reseaching some 30's fashion instead of using some random, modern-looking clothes.
