Just a re-imagining of the scene that takes place before the white wolf shows up. Because I'm cliche, let's just say that the scene becomes lighter when the white wolf does make an appearance, because symbolism is cool beans.

This would make a good poster, with or without text. The expression on his face is rather open to interpretation; I can see a sense of failure, but looking at it "from another angle," so to speak, it also seems to suggest a sense of peace or of searching. I'm not usually a fan of ambiguous art, but I like this piece.
