A Light in the Dark

A Light in the Dark

So yeah I kind of lost the plot with this drawing, didn't really feel like colouring the bear up as he already looked pretty poor so I did the easy thing and just did the whole background black except for the bear's teeth and eye's :P
I hate how 2-D the foreround looks but thats probably cause it's lighted up against a jet black background so there's no feel of distance or depth, oh well better luck next time ;)

would noise work? I imagine it'd just give it a fairly grainy texturiesed look to it, but maybe there's a trick to it then ;)

I kinda know what I done wrong looking back on it now, it's just a flat cut out foreground with some really plain texture painted onto it, no depth cause it just drops from bottom to top with no layering whatsoever >.

Actually, you could make that foreground 3D again by adding noise to it.
