When You're Not Around...
Originally I planned for Avalanche to survive the waterfall, come back and kill Kilik. Then Dakota would round up her kids and they would defeat Avalanche before Dakota died shortly on top of Kilik's grave.
But that's SO cliche, so I decided to give my beloved characters a happier ending where they eventually die of old age. Because after all the crap they go through they deserve a happier ending.
